@GuntherEagleman There's absolutely no way they can allow Chinese EV's to freely cross the border and drive in the US from Canada. I find it a huge problem.
🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL: Canada just BACKED DOWN from their China deal after President Trump hit PM Mark Carney with the threat of 100% tariffs.
Carney’s response: “No intention of doing that with China!”
Ha! Carney bent the knee and kissed the ring!
@SecDuffy@POTUS Flood? Get a grip. You do know the same EVs are already in Mexico, right? Maybe if you were a better partner - if you were a better Secretary of State - we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Every single Canadian needs to make themselves familiar with Article 32.10 of the CUSMA/USMCA deal. It’s essentially a kill switch. 🇺🇸 can kick 🇨🇦 or 🇲🇽 out of the deal for engaging in trade with a non market economy (🇨🇳). The 🇺🇸 must be told in advance & 🇨🇦 must share ….

Trump thrives on chaos.
Every time Canadians over react to his social media posts, we are giving him what he craves.
Here's what we should do instead.

This is Alex Pretti, the man the Trump admin and Trump supporters call a "domestic terrorist."
Here Pretti is reading the final honors, honoring a soldier who has passed away at the hospital he was a nurse at.
Stop believing Trump's propaganda. He is lying to you! WAKE UP!
@JJCarafano The US trades more with China. Canada is doing exactly what the US said they wanted Canada to do. You’re how unhappy because you can’t take back all manufacturing and expect Canadians to continue to buy your stuff. A reminder, we’re also your biggest customer. Work. It. Out.
Canada is going to demonstrate to Europe and the world that using China to try balance against the U.S. is about the stupidest idea in the history of stupid.
America is grateful for every nation that answered the call after we were attacked on 9/11 and served with our forces on the frontlines in Afghanistan. Their sacrifices should never be forgotten.

US trade with China: $582.5B USD
(Representing 10.9% of total US trade)
Canadian trade with China: $86.2B USD
(Representing 7.9% of total Canadian trade)
The US trades more with China - and Trump himself is trying to negotiate a trade deal with China.

@FoxNews Throwing his toys out the pram. I want jobs. I want manufacturing. I want all your businesses. But Canadians MUST continue to buy American made goods.
Guess what? Not. Gonna. Happen.
BREAKING NEWS: President Trump threatened Canada with 100% tariffs if PM Mark Carney makes the country a "drop off port" for Chinese goods to enter the U.S.

Well said, Mr. President. Your statement about our British allies speaks for itself.
I have had more interaction with President Trump on national security matters than any president since I’ve been in Congress. I can assure our allies and the American people that President Trump deeply respects those serving at home and abroad. When it comes to President Trump’s respect and admiration for those who wear the uniform at home and abroad to protect freedom, he is equal to any.
In political jousting he always pushes back, and sometimes like all of us, he can go too far. However, I have never found a president more focused on making sure our nation protects those who serve, ensuring they have the best equipment and the latitude to keep America safe.
@FoxNews Well let’s see what happens. I’d rather be poor than live in a country ruled by @realDonaldTrump. Morals, ethics and principles may not matter to him, but they matter to canadians.
NORTHERN EXPOSURE: President Trump warns Canada that any trade deal with China would lead to an end of their “general way of life,” while threatening to impose 100% tariffs on all Canadian products if a China-Canada trade deal happens.
A reminder, we changed the name of this station from Dundas Station to TMU on the false claim that Henry Dundas helped keep slavery going and therefore his name should be removed.
This is the foolishness of Toronto City Hall and why we need change.
Canada needs a government that is willing to do what's best for Canadians. Not The EU, The WEF, or The Chinese Communist Party. Being antagonistic with Trump and moving us closer to The CCP will only result in our people suffering.
Imagine a foreign leader having to publicly say
“China will NOT take over Canada.”
That alone tells you how badly Carney has screwed this up.
Sovereignty isn’t protected by Davos speeches.
It’s protected by choosing your allies wisely.
"The last thing the World needs is to have China take over Canada. It’s NOT going to happen, or even come close to happening! Thank you for your attention to this matter." - President DONALD J. TRUMP
The issue is @realDonaldTrump@howardlutnick have realized that just like Mexico, Canada can buy Chinese cars. Cheaper and better than Americans - as the ford CEO said himself last year. They want our businesses, they want all manufacturing and they want the Canadian consumer. But they can’t have it all and I’m glad @MarkJCarney is making that clear. If America wants to conduct economic warfare against their closest allies, all we can do is move on. The disrespect they have shown to Canada is unreparable and won’t be forgotten.
