SEEING IS BELIEVING: Titanosaur comes to Peterborough Cathedral. In April, Peterborough Cathedral will host Titanosaur – a chance to stand, quite literally, in the shadow of the Late Cretaceous Period. The colossal Patagotitan mayorum – the most complete giant dinosaur ever discovered – will stand within the Cathedral’s vast interior: a space built to contain awe. Where medieval builders once lifted stone to extraordinary heights, a prehistoric titan now rises above royal tombs, as if tearing a hole in the very fabric of spacetime. Here, a story of scale, survival and vulnerability is set within Peterborough Cathedral – a building that has watched centuries pass, and will now host a visitor from 101 million years ago.
