@CarManToday I owned one 3500 manual blue, ex GMP training vehicle

Did you own a #Rover SD1, in its 50th year the luxurious hatchback was deserving of a Car Of The Year win.
Launched in 1976 the big Rover was probably best with the straight six engine, 2600cc.
As famously raced by Tony Pond for British Leyland's competition department, the SD1 returned great rallying success. But did you own one?

@Mericamemed I honestly never knew how far the talent is allowed to stray from the screen writers vision. Very interesting.

@JustaDude2i Would love the see the Jet 2 training on this. At what point do the cabin crew round up 4 big blokes to “subdue” the patient.
English

Jet 2 - fight on plane, mid air. From Antalya - London Gatwick. Woke up and see someone getting punched in the face after being aggressive and shouting disrespectful & racial insults This was the aftermath, Pilot ended up landing the craft 2 hours into flight in Bulgaria to get local police to remove the passengers.
Not the journey home I was expecting

@Therichardralph Some investment gurus say avoid buying land as it does not produce income and can be a liability, fences, trespassing etc. They are not building anymore land tho.

If you know, letting your car idle after intense driving.
Lets say you drove home for about 50 km's or 30 miles.
As soon as you park up at home you shut off the engine.
All of that heat you leave trapped in the engine which will eventually cause damage.
Instead as soon as you park up, let your car idle for 1 - 3 minutes to let the coolant and oil cool turbos, engine down.
Especially important on highly complicated cars like this BMW F10 M5, twin-turbo S63 V8, their most complex engine at the time.

@LupineLives Life is game, you have time that means everything but some people don’t realise it and money that means almost nothing. Players sometimes get confused about the priority of time and money that’s why we end up in this situation.
English

Have you considered you know dropping the price?
Have you wonder if actually the estate agents have gassed you up and you’re not going to make £410K profit on your mortgage free house you bought in 2003 for £440K?
Just something to consider

@MbarkCherguia Good God, how old is that picture? Talk about recycling.

@Matt_Pinner Go once every couple years like a quit smoker who for no reason smokes one now and again just to check it’s still shit.
English

@CharlotteAlter Not correct, I like dogs but do not own one due to hassle, vets, holidays, grooming etc. So any friends dogs are welcome in my house.
English

@Therichardralph @CompoundingISA Agree kinda but what about leverage, you only need 25% cash in the overall btl investment and 5 years down the line you can refinance tax free. Debt is tax free. The extra mortgage cost is
covered by rent increase. Work tho for sure.
English

@CompoundingISA Loads of hassle for returns that can be equaled in the stock market and can be done tax free within ISA
English

@thealexbear I like the overall look because it looks like nothing, looks like a base base base at first glance. Sleeper mode.
English

@Peterclassic612 It does, handles amazingly too. Like a big go kart that does limo well
English

@0xGhostRider Agree, in the Ferrari world not many people actually hammer their cars and treat em like a daily driver. There is a balance though, just look at whistling diesel.

Extremely bizarre seeing dudes idolize their possessions, trying to keep them as pretty as possible, buying them for price appreciation.
Should be running your possessions into the ground, striving to have the highest mileage “collectible” worldwide, roadtripping them across state, letting your friends enjoy them, etc.
Sign of the times, no one talking about this.
