Sec. Hegseth fired over 20 top generals and admirals, including a top Army general who served 7 presidents this week. Purging generals to settle personal or political vendettas is what happens in China or Russia, not America. I broke down why this is dangerous back in November:

Bondi can’t execute the Epstein cover-up the way Trump likes, so she’s out. She’ll be replaced with Trump’s personal lawyer Todd Blanche, who has been running the Ghislaine coverup for a year.

Dear trump Cabinet: You may think you have impunity because dear leader will pardon you. Think again. You never know when trump will capriciously throw you under the bus without a care for you ever again. I hope you think twice before violating the law. November is coming.
Dasha Burns@DashaBurns

NEW: Trump is considering more changes to his Cabinet, according to four officials. He has expressed frustration and disappointment with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer. "He's very angry and he's going to be moving people," an administration official told @politico. No final decisions have been made on Chavez-DeRemer and Lutnick, and Trump has contemplated firing people and then backed off before. My latest reporting: politico.com/news/2026/04/0…

This is a lie. About 50% of the files have been released and per our subpoena it’s illegal to withhold them. Blanche may think it’s over, but we are just getting started.
Acyn@Acyn

Blanche: The DOJ has now released all the files with respect to the Epstein saga. To the extent the Epstein files was a part of the past year of this justice department, it should not be a part of anything going forward.

🚨🚨🚨 HERE'S EXACTLY HOW THE IRAN GROUND WAR ENDS. STEP BY STEP. BOOKMARK THIS. 🚨🚨🚨 Nobody wants to hear this. But the pattern is already forming: 📉 STEP 1 → Trump declares Iran "defeated and cannot make a comeback." The 82nd Airborne deploys the SAME DAY. Americans see "victory." The military sees the war hasn't started. 📉 STEP 2 → Ground operations begin targeting nuclear sites and Kharg Island. Initial progress. Cable news runs "precision strikes" footage for a week. 📉 STEP 3 → IRGC activates 8-layer defense: electronic warfare disruption, anti-armor perimeters, urban warfare integration, tunnel networks. US forces hit the Zagros Mountains. Momentum stops. 📉 STEP 4 → Casualties rise. Iran's guerrilla fallback layer activates. The word "quagmire" replaces "operation." 📉 STEP 5 → Oil markets react to Kharg Island operations. Prices spike. Global inflation reignites. The economic cost becomes impossible to ignore. 📉 STEP 6 → Iran's "million-strong popular mobilization" kicks in. 85,000,000 people in a country 3x the size of Iraq. Supply lines stretch. Morale drops. 📉 STEP 7 → The "weeks" of planned operations become months. Troop requests escalate past 10,000 to 50,000. Congress asks questions nobody wants to answer. 📉 STEP 8 → The same cycle that played out in Iraq and Afghanistan repeats — but in a country DESIGNED to make it worse. They're showing you "nearing completion." They're NOT showing you that the part designed to break invaders hasn't even been activated yet. A friend of mine who spent 15 years in defense intelligence told me last week: "Iran isn't Iraq. Iraq collapsed. Iran was built to absorb." That's when I knew this was real. This isn't victory. This is the most expensive trap in military history. Bookmark this. Screenshot this. Come back in 30 days.

Not a good sign when @DAGToddBlanche continues to lie on his first day as interim AG. Here’s a simple question for you Interim AG Todd Blanche: why are these redactions still on this document even when Members of Congress go to your office to view the document?

Massive corruption exposed on ABC News. A UAE official bought a 500 million dollar secret stake in a Trump company right before getting access to guarded US AI chips. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche desperately tries to deflect. The White House is for sale.

🚨A reporter asked Macron about Trump’s personal attacks against him. Macron’s response: “We are talking about war. Civilians dying. Economies suffering. What I heard is neither serious nor worthy of response. A world leader cannot use the language he is speaking.” Neither serious nor worthy of response. The President of France just dismissed the President of the United States in one sentence. France closed its airspace. France officially refused to send warships. France welcomed the doctors America expelled from the Caribbean. Macron said “nobody can force us.” Now Macron is telling the world Trump’s language is beneath the gravity of the moment.
