@javierdsv @JoeMerrick @mastermine62 @TamaNuriCove Yes, updating the entire save file infrastructure of the operating system is a reasonable thing in order to disable a feature that Nintendo wants developers to use in order to incentivize a subscription so that TPC/GameFreak can stop people from save scumming.

@JoeMerrick @mastermine62 @TamaNuriCove It's very naive to think they can't just update the app to have a different handling for certain titles. It would be in fact, a very easy coding project to just disable certain features and prevent certain saves from getting backed up alongside the rest. It's just greed man.

So why its own thing and not in Nintendo Classics? It's simple Save Data Cloud & Rewind. Game Freak have routinely not wanted these so you can't scum encounters/releases/trades Plus HOME connectivity would need its own save file too

I didn't think this would finish yesterday, but it actually did! 10 max settings + glitch logic Paper Mario 64 randos at the same time in under 60 hours. These settings average between 4-5 hours, but add in shuffling + other effects and I'm surprised this finished cleanly

With some small updates, this will be starting in just over an hour

I have been working on this the last few days and will be running it in a week! 5 Paper Mario Randomizer seeds at the same time with all the different effects listed below that can be triggered by bits or gift subs. Starts June 30th and goes until it's done!

Did a couple things the last two days that are both very out of character for me, but also a step forward in healing and feeling better about myself. This moment right now might be the first time in years that I'm trying to look forward to a hopeful future

3:52 (4 minutes off my pb) for a first pape glitchless run in nearly 2 years, not even that I expected it to finish. Tons of mistakes, it honestly might not take too insanely long for the first PB, but it will be a long road to the 3:44 goal.
