If you're going to get a chair, get a Herman Miller. I had an issue with the Verus about 6 months after I bought it, the slide on the seat wouldn't lock in place. Called them up, within 2 days they sent a technician to my house and replaced the mechanism... That was the best customer service I've ever recieved.. Fast, motivated and just sorted it. I feel like the Embody when it was on offer was the much better pick. Now I just need to figure out what to do with this lemon...

So as I sit in meetings 9 hours a day in a HM Verus, I thought I'd treat myself to something a bit bigger for my other office desk, decided on a @Haworthinc Fern, was a decent pick at about 700 quid... Absolutely avoid... Arrived visibly used, dusty, someone else's hair all over it. Castors not even correctly removed... And worse of all, missing the bolts to attach the back securely... If this was a cheap Amazon pick, I wouldn't really be so bothered. But feels like you can't even spend your way to a good experience today...
Emailed customer support, took 4 days for a reply... Choices were: either return it, get a refund (then without a chair), send it back an wait for a replacement (who knows how long) or £50 rebate to 'make it right'... They didn't even offer to send the bolts out...
It's not exactly a 'bad' chair, but man, really?

@lukeknight So glad this happened, I use a lot of TBPN clips with my clients, it's stunningly good. I don't know why everyone's got their pants in a twist about it. I really doubt it will change much other than making it bigger and better. Just let me know when the etn IPO is.

This video is so ironic. It paints the simple reason why TBPN won the game in only 18 months.
Trad media only searching for scoops. These platforms moving into New Media don't understand how badly this hurts relationships with the most important people in world.
TBPN has zero gotcha moments. They build good will by being pro tech, pro growth and making friends.
I'm glad that moving against highly polarised content is winning.

I'd highly recommend playing some of the Arc-AGI-3 games, model performance is garbage on nearly all of them, but they are a great quick IQ benchmark for people. arcprize.org/tasks

@PropertyPrince4 A load of houses around me have been on the market for a year, some even two. Up for sale at 2021 prices and not coming down. I'm ready to 1st time buy, my instinct is telling me to hold on for another year and keep renting. Really interested to see what happens just before May
