Why we hold Charis Campmeeting "Heralding the Lordship of the Word,Demonstrating the influence and character of the Spirit " This is our mandate in all the Nations of the earth . Special meetings give us an avenue to fulfil this . Charis Campmeeting is a special meeting . It carries the same Flavour and character of meetings of such nature in the Book of Acts . More recently ,Kenneth Hagin Ministries Campmeeting ( started since 1973) has inspired this for us. How Do You Handle Another’s Nakedness? When you chance upon someone at their vulnerable moments, what do you do? Do you cover their shame or do you expose them to ridicule? Let’s talk about Noah. He was the man who heard God, built an ark, saved a generation and walked with righteousness. But Genesis 9 documents an incident upon which I anchor this reflection. We are talking Noah. A leader. A man God trusted with the future of humanity. But he was also a father, a human and he had a moment of weakness. Noah got drunk and laid uncovered in his tent. Ham, one of Noah’s 3 sons, saw his father’s nakedness and rushed to tell his brothers. Not to seek help. Not to cover him. But to expose him. The 2 other sons, Shem and Japheth, rather than deepen the gossip chose differently: they took a garment, walked backward and covered their father. They refused to look at him in his shame. Same situation; different hearts; sons of the same father. Now let us be honest. Covering another person’s nakedness is not easy especially when the person is on a pedestal, high above us and almost divine. We begin to wonder if they’re made of same stuff like regular humans. So when we see them in the same or worse situations than us, the urge to want to expose is strong. And this far more difficult in our generation than days of yore. In Noah’s time, you needed your mouth to expose someone. Today, all you need is your phone. The temptation to whip it out, record, post and gain engagement is high. This is a generation where social media likes are addictive, going viral is tempting and lucrative. What’s more? Applause comes fast. You could literally go from unknown to celebrity with a post. But this is how we know character: it is revealed in what you do when nobody is forcing you to expose. The question is not whether you saw it. The question is whether you chose content over conscience. The way you handle another person’s weakness says more about you than it says about them. Ham saw a flaw and turned it into gossip. Shem and Japheth saw that same flaw and turned it into compassion. They understood something we are losing in this age, that dignity is a core human need no one should be denied. Covering does not mean pretending the weakness did not exist. It means you choose honor over humiliation. It means you resist the urge to turn someone’s lowest moment into your highest engagement. This story is not really about Noah. It is about us and what we do when we come face to face with the nakedness of others, people we usually have proximity to. When your ‘leaders’ stumble, do you post or protect? When elders slip, do you record or cover? When someone is vulnerable, do you chase views or choose values? Some people even destroy bridges they are still standing on all for the likes, shares and validation of fickle minded strangers online. There will be moments when people you respect will disappoint you. When they will show you that they are human. In those moments, remember this, not every weakness needs an audience. Because we are all humans, tomorrow, it may be your turn to need grace. And may God raise us to be people who cover, even when exposure would trend. May we have Shem and Japheth in our vulnerable moments. Importantly, may we not be Ham to other people in their moments of weakness. Amen. @Phatlines_ @jimm_wea Okay, you used multiplication and imported 2. So this is what I did. 5+5*5 = 50 6+6*6 = 72 3+3*3 = 27

Nothing is as disturbing as seeing others continue in convictions and paths you abandoned for convenience . At times those who stood against what you taught now start believing it years later . Those who were not saved when you started ministry now get in and are vibrant and sold out . It’s thus vital to truly believe what you profess and be willing to go the whole hug and the long haul ! Don’t drop the ball! Many are there with it under more strenuous conditions . Recall Elijah’s discovery, hundreds didn’t bow to Baal . Yet he didn’t know ! Don’t give in to pleasure and immediate gratification . Stay On Fire . Keep the flame ! December 5, 2018 #chrissegunonayinka #saintscommunitychurch

Never use the shortcomings of others as a way to propel yourself into a position or a place of visibility. Do not exploit the misfortunes of others to promote your own wisdom. Nothing solid is built by strife and contention. Pastor Poju Oyemade #chrissegunonayinka #saintscommunitychurch

No matter how booked your schedule is, you will never be able to “busy” your way to a successful life. Busyness without purpose will lead to frustration, exhaustion, and worry. We have to approach our schedules differently if we ever want to find relief from overbooking our lives. Craig Groeschel offered this advice: “Our goals shouldn’t be activity, but productivity. We don’t want frenetic activity; we want focused activity.” When you focus your energy in specific places that match your priorities, you enable yourself to succeed in each area. To leave a local church because you aren't comfortable with discipline might be a red flag The local church is for discipline ,any new assembly you join should know same trait is coming full cycle / circle Also ,There is no local church without its own share of bouts of issues and relationship fall outs ,so it's premature and immature to abandon an assembly for such ,learn to see such as an opportunity to grow ,mature and tolerate others or submit and be accountable Starting a church/ ministry with fellow "rebels " is always a ticking time bomb ,it goes off at the slightest inspiration 😀😀 See most if not every issue in your local church as situations to grow and be a vital member of the body of Christ November 18,2013 #chrissegunonayinka #saintscommunitychurch
