Staff Flight Test Engineer Simon Hedderman takes us inside the Archer telemetry trailer, the data center behind our flight test operations.
While the pilot operates the aircraft, our team monitors from the telemetry trailer, gathering holistic aircraft data like engine temperatures, airspeed, and battery levels. Each part of the aircraft is represented, with members from the battery, engine, propellor, flight control systems, guidance navigation & controls, and flight test instrumentation teams gathering data and monitoring real-time performance during flight.
This test data helps to validate aircraft performance across mission profiles, supporting safe flights and preparing us for public operations.

At 2 a.m. on December 13, 2025, Thailand attacked Cambodia’s Koh Kong Province, forcing innocent civilians to flee their homes in the middle of the night. This is a cruel and inhumane act. Thailand has never wanted peace—ceasefires mean nothing when only Cambodia respects them. Thailand is desperate for war and shows no concern for destruction or human lives.
I hope the world sees the truth: Thailand started this.

Ta Krabey Temple was destroyed this week during the latest round of fighting along the Cambodia-Thailand border. According to Cambodia’s Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the destruction occurred on 8 December 2025 amid Thai air and artillery operations in the area. The Ministry has formally condemned the Thai military and is calling for international accountability.
Photos from the site show extensive structural collapse, with the temple reduced to rubble. Sandbags are visible around parts of the structure, though no explanation has been confirmed for their presence.
Even in a militarized border zone, why was there a need to completely annihilate an ancient Khmer temple that had stood for centuries? Whatever the tactical context, the outcome is the permanent loss of a cultural heritage site that cannot be rebuilt or replaced.

We just set a new program record for Midnight’s longest piloted flight. Watching from the tarmac, @united CFO Mike Leskinen highlighted how quiet Midnight is - critical for integrating air taxis seamlessly into United’s hubs.
Four test pilots from our team are now regularly flying Midnight as we expand the speed, distance, and duration envelope in mission profiles that map to early commercial operations.

In 2023, the @FAANews published its Innovate28 plan, setting out its objective for piloted, passenger-carrying eVTOL aircraft operations to reach meaningful scale by 2028. The Trump Administration has continued to commit support and resources toward this goal.
Earlier this month, President Trump commissioned a White House task force to lead federal coordination for the Olympic events, including security and transportation.
To support the White House’s ambitions, we have secured agreements with partners across the LA area to bring online take off and landing locations that we intend to use during the Games to provide air taxi services. We’ve previously announced a number of those locations as part of our LA network.

🇦🇪 Midnight has flown in the UAE
We kicked off our UAE Launch Edition program today with a test flight in Abu Dhabi at Al Bateen Executive Airport. Our initial flight test operations in the UAE are focused on evaluating the aircraft's VTOL performance in UAE-specific conditions, including high temperature, humidity and dust exposure, to allow our team to validate readiness for commercial deployment.
Thank you to the Senior Leaders from the @gcaauae, @InvestAbuDhabi, Integrated Transport Centre, @ADxAviation, @ad_airports and representatives from our regional partners for joining us to witness this milestone.
