@boriquagato @MichaelAArouet you're a bit confused - that's the USCRN data
USHCN became ClimDiv
If you check the Climdiv button the curves match - no difference
English

the climate data is junk and more artifact than signal. it's measuring urbanization, not temperature.
further, there is no actual causal link between CO2 and meaningful climate change. it's likely more effect (oceans outgassing) than cause (as the forcing is already way out onto the flat part of a log curve). this can be seen clearly in prior interglacials where CO2 also rose (but lags temperature)
the agencies pushing this bad data and worse interpretation have no credibility and their budgets depend upon there being a crisis. many actually have good, meaningful data, but fail to publish it widely in favor of bad data. this is the USHCN data from their own "reference" network that covers the whole US and uses only well sited, continuously operating stations.
now ask yourself - if this is the best quality data they have, why are they pushing the other data?
despite the march spike, this data has had no meaningful trend for 20 years. (you can, however, see the ENSO sinusoidal)

@benjyminty @CitizenUddin @wearespeedy Because it was a good way to expadite collection of heavy equipment from a job site
English

@CitizenUddin @wearespeedy To all those that think the driver was doing nothing, why would they drive up here?

English

Ealing Broadway
@wearespeedy, it’s great that you want to "Go Greener Faster," but your drivers shouldn't be going "On Pavements" Driving on the footway is a huge safety fail, regardless of the engine type. Please remind your drivers that the kerb is a boundary, not a shortcut

The @ealingmps officer driving this vehicle parked on the white zig zag lines, initially claimed he was on an "Operation". Then a member of the public told me an officer was in the coffee shop......
And just look at the empty space behind the van.

@willxc007 @T3X4N_ @WallStreetApes Outdoor/UG grade large multi-core Cat.3 cables exist, but you would only use them for short distances eg connecting adjacent buildings
English

@T3X4N_ @WallStreetApes Category ratings (Cat3, Cat5e, Cat6) are interior networking twisted pair cables. Outside plant cables are bundles of 25 wrapped twisted pair wires, mostly used for telephone and DSL signals.
English

A maintenance worker seems to be working on buried pipelines when he comes across the bundle of wires in the way, and starts cutting
These are expensive fiber optic cables, and a lot of them. Likely over $25,000 worth of just cables not counting work
Cutting this amount of fiber cables will knock out internet for tens of thousands of people, maybe even over 50,000 people

@CyclingForMind @UK_murph @VisionZeroWY Oh no *my* shoes are very shiney like yours, naturally.
But I would max out on the hi-viz if I were you
English

@PhilBull18 @UK_murph @VisionZeroWY So you don't drive to the conditions? Your licence should be revoked.
English

@Bikery1966 Oh *I* always see them because my shoes are very shiney, naturally. But I'd max out out on the high viz if I were you
English

@PhilBull18 When I’m riding my bike I rarely have to stop, a shout and a wave lets the pedestrians cross and then I turn in round the back of them.
As for crappy lights you need your eyesight checking if you can’t see them in your headlights.
English

Most drivers still don’t get this and often enter side roads far too fast.
We can change this with better junction design which naturally slows drivers down and by adding zebra crossings to emphasis who has priority.
Vision Zero - West Yorkshire@VisionZeroWY
Pedestrians have priority at junctions. This means that drivers should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross at a junction. Approach junctions with care, reduce speed, use mirrors and check blind spots. Let’s keep everyone safe on our roads.
English

@CyclingForMind @UK_murph @VisionZeroWY Yes you'd better max out on the high viz/lights for those times on busy main roads on a rainy night and your stopped in the middle of the road playing gentleman jim.
English

@UK_murph @VisionZeroWY Yes. The same as if you were turning right and waiting for oncoming traffic to clear. Not that difficult.
English

@UK_murph @VisionZeroWY Yes even if you're on a bike with shitty lights wearing dark clothing - you should stop in the middle of a busy main road on a rainy night playing gentleman jim for pedestrians in no danger waiting on the pavement
English

@VisionZeroWY Even if that will mean stopping the traffic behind you on the main road?
English

@elgordix69 @Oji_yellow It's an accessory for caravan/trailer owners usually - for accurate lining up of tow bar and hitch
English

@rogecare @Oji_yellow Nah caravan owners who like to get the tow and hitch lined up accurately
English

@Miky_Einar @Oji_yellow Not absurd - popular with caravan/trailer owners for getting the tow bar and hitch lined up accurately
English

@Mr_A_J_ @Oji_yellow Most popular with caravan/trailer owners for getting the tow bar and hitch lined up accurately
English

@guapeca0910 @Oji_yellow No it's mostly caravan/trailer owners that have them for gettting the tow bar and hitch lined up accurately
English

@unmonje @Oji_yellow Used a lot in europe - yes, but nothing to do with sensors. Used by caravan/trailer owners who like to get the tow and hitch lined up accurately when reversing
English

@Oji_yellow Popular with caravan/trailer owners for reversing up to the hitch as accurately as possible. Done well you can then just lower the hitch onto the towbar
English

@ThinkLicence @wanderer_bolton @TheAA_UK I think it's about as likely as the pedestrian being prosecuted for stepping into the road against the highway code
English

@PhilBull18 @wanderer_bolton @TheAA_UK The offence is, IMO again, prosecutable, but not without my video and statement. As I chose to use the video on Twitter immediately I have in essence ruled out a submission to the police. I was happy with the AA response, as hopefully he will learn, as will some on X.
English

AA ddouble ttap.
Not satisfied with ignoring the Highway Code once? Try again.
@TheAA_UK , driver retraining please.
