What if you could build characters, drop them into a world, and have a tool that remembers every single detail, scene after scene? 👀 That's exactly what I did here. Same faces. Same world. Same story - from the first frame to the final kiss. I created this short film using @UtopaiStudios an AI-native film studio built for storytelling, not just clips. Comment AI if you want to know how to get access. 👇 #utopaistudios #utopai #aifilmmaking #utopaipartner #aivideo

This is absolutely insane 🫠 People are yearning for a LOTR game like this. We’ve somehow normalized waiting 2 years for 6 episodes of a TV show and a decade for a game sequel. Imagine getting a new GTA game every year. AI will replace the bottlenecks, not human direction.

@JustRouzbeh @rork those are 2 separate features though if that was all written together then sure like this yea it might be word games but calling it "false dreams" because you have to buy a 99$/yr dev account is a bit much

@PhilFrancoAI @rork in their own ad in just 3 seconds they claim 1- No 99 dollar dev account 2- Two clicks to ship on App Store They're playing word games to sell false dreams, if you don't see it that way, totally fine :)

Recently @rork just dropped Rork Max, an AI that claims to build iOS apps and games through vibe coding with zero experience needed. Sounds magical until you read the fine print. Here's the catch, you actually dont need an Apple developer account ($99/year), can only publish 3 apps under Rork's account (legally they own your apps, not you - imagine building something successful and having zero IP rights), and it costs $200/month which is insane for what you get. The vibe-coded output quality? Expect App Store rejections galore for crashes, memory leaks, and guideline violations. And for games they claim to build? Runtime debugging is essential, you need to catch frame drops, physics bugs, and memory issues in real-time. No AI can handle that, especially on Xcode where even experienced devs struggle 😂 Even funnier, paid "builders" are already blindly promoting this subscription without ever shipping a real app themselves. I'm not saying it's a bad product. I'm saying it's selling false dreams to people at the start of their journey who may have quit their jobs or are living on savings hoping to build the next big thing. $200/month is massive for them, that's $2,400/year, more than most make from their first apps. And when they see these "builders" hyping unrealistic promises like "I made $10k in my first month," they fall into the trap thinking it'll happen to them too. To those so-called builders: I know you're struggling too and affiliate income feels like easy money, but you shouldn't push others deeper into debt just to make a quick buck promoting a dream that isn't real. The people buying this are often the most vulnerable, new to tech, full of hope, and trusting your recommendations.

@JustRouzbeh @rork the whole point of ai is to break the barrier that currently exists between having an idea and having to spend months or years learning something you have no interest in learning.

I say it's even bigger than that. Here's the real question, do you want a sustainable long-term business or just a quick launch? If yes, you need to constantly update your app, squash bugs, fix crashes, and handle countless other challenges. Simply building it is just chapter one of a much longer story. And when you lack the knowledge because "the AI handles it," you're trapped, unable to maintain your own creation. That means paying that subscription forever. My advice? Just use Claude with Cursor or Xcode and actually learn something. You'll be unstoppable.

@JustRouzbeh @rork If you’re in app development you know damn well that explaining to your non technical friend how to publish an app idea so they can touch it is an extremely time sucking task

Yes, but in app development, "publish" means submitting to Apple, I've been in this industry 8+ years :) What they're doing is just installing the app on your device. They're using misleading terminology, and imagine paying $200+ only to discover the promises in the ad weren't accurate. That's not cool :)
