@exmoor_cat @PhilRickman Phil was wondering, asking a question (he was a journalist). He was looking at these scientists and considering not conspiracy but human nature (he is a novelist). Just above you in the thread, an observation from someone who worked in big pharma. They don’t want to cure us.

Forgive me for wondering if Government-subsidised medical scientists aren't mainly finding new twists that will keep them in well-paid work for the forseeable future.

Sorry, but I'm getting increasingly annoyed by the ubiquitous BT advert about starting the New Year with their 'brilliant Broadband', when so many rural areas still have ABYSMAL BROADBAND at FULL PRICE from BT. Please spread this around. At the top, BT ARE CRAP.

Why start the New Year with bad Broadband? If you live where I live, BT will give you decent, superfast BB for a mere £19,000.
