I’ve often thought when i’ve dropped my wife outside a store and she’s run in to get something, what would happen if she never came back out? - if she literally just vanished into thin air, what would be the consequences? What would I do...

@exmoor_cat @PhilRickman Phil was wondering, asking a question (he was a journalist). He was looking at these scientists and considering not conspiracy but human nature (he is a novelist). Just above you in the thread, an observation from someone who worked in big pharma. They don’t want to cure us.

Forgive me for wondering if Government-subsidised medical scientists aren't mainly finding new twists that will keep them in well-paid work for the forseeable future.

Sorry, but I'm getting increasingly annoyed by the ubiquitous BT advert about starting the New Year with their 'brilliant Broadband', when so many rural areas still have ABYSMAL BROADBAND at FULL PRICE from BT. Please spread this around. At the top, BT ARE CRAP.

I gather that, in this area, we can expected vaccine parachuted in by the SAS.

@RebeccaTope Which, in our case, is well over 20 years.... In fact, I think they were still part of the Post Office.

@PhilRickman Right. We're waiting...and waiting...and waiting for fibre. Like the end of the rainbow, it recedes every time they promise 'soon'.

Why start the New Year with bad Broadband? If you live where I live, BT will give you decent, superfast BB for a mere £19,000.

@fgcottam Thanks, Francis. Is it OK if I have a few BT people horribly killed? Not that I'd be trying to plant the idea...

@PhilRickman Swings and roundabouts to some extent, Phil. Where you live informs your fiction and makes it atmospheric and tremendously enjoyable for readers like me.

Hello Neil. Sorry, but I've only just seen this. Many thanks. I can use the rabbits if I can find the right place. Just had the idea that could finish the book which is a big relief!

What a difference! Same view last Sunday & today. 25 miles around Storridge & Suckley hills. Didn’t see much of them!
