In the 1980s, some uMkhonto weSizwe fighters were embedded in the communities in Matebeleland. There were issued with Zimbabwean identity documents. Abanye babo behlala in Nkulumane, Lobengula, Figtree, Tsholotsho, blending into communities while carrying on with their struggle. It is a chapter in our shared regional history.

The Zimbabwean President has been engineering one form of illegitimacy into another form...from rigging elections to extending the term of a rigged election. It has been impossible to remove the illegitimacy, so he has welded himself into office with a constitutional amendment which in itself is illegitimate and to make matters worse he seeks to benefit from an amendment that was not supposed to benefit him as an incumbent.

ED Signs CAB3 Into Law & The Marathon Begins! As long predicted by yours truly over 3 years ago, ED has finally gotten over the line through turning CAB3 into an Act. It became a fait accompli once Tshabangu had been unleashed as a political wrecking ball. There are many mistakes Chiwenga made, which I pointed out along the way. When I did so, as I told many Zimbabweans at the time, his team would consistently reach out & insist that they would not give up the ghost. I still don't think that they have. All the projections I made have been proven correct. The next stage now involves taking down Chiwenga. It is inevitable that ED has to attempt to do this. The "how" & "when" part probably amounts to ED's greatest political gamble of a long & chequered political career - there are moments of grave peril that are abound, even for the arch Machiavellian that he is. Yes, Chiwenga is now a sitting duck. He knows that the moment of reckoning is simmering in the background. ED's options revolve around quietly but spectacularly pulling the rug from under Chiwenga's feet through a not so smart / subtle Cabinet Reshuffle or going for the jugular through the Macho-nuclear option of publicly firing him from office & then coming after him to achieve operation final containment. It is clear that Chiwenga's profile is such that dismissing him from government would be insufficient to extinguish the political flame that he encapsulates. It would simply amount to a temporary lull in hostilities. Even if he so wished, it is not possible for Chiwenga to go down quietly. That would present capitulation of such a scale that he would never be able to recover from. There are simply way too many restive sections from his faction & the general public for the enactment of CAB3 to lie unchallenged. ED has conspired to criminalise Chiwenga's political ambitions - so Chiwenga will now be forced to wage his insurgency or what remains of it from outside the parameters of the bastardised Constitution with all the risks that entails. There are 3 crucial factors that ED cannot cure which will give his opponents hope: i. Mortality - ED is simply advanced in age. That will always present as part of the law of diminishing returns, with each year signalling physical & mental diminution (cognitive & motor skills), with current current speculation of failing health refusing to go away. ii. Wild unpopularity of CAA3 - this is simply a much reviled / highly unpopular amendment which no democratic mandate or legitimacy. It's sheer unpopularity will continue to inflame, inspire & galvanise all its opponents, cutting across the political divide. iii. The weight of liberation history, how far away into the future 2030 is, and Chiwenga's political stature in ZANU PF & beyond. We are thus now entering into a new phase - an undefined asymmetrical marathon. ED will be forced to use repression on a grand scale to achieve compliance but that will eventually take its toll as attrition is by definition unwieldy. If ED succeeds in dispatching Chiwenga without any blowback or minimum levels of it - then, barring unforeseen events, he would have succeeded in taming the storm! Zimbabwe's short to medium term stability hinges on how ED handles the dramatic and spectacular attempt to disembowel Chiwenga's political career together with all the risks this entails!

Has Chiwenga's Long Hitch On The Croc's Back Delivered A Final Nail In His Political Coffin? For now, until eventually proven otherwise, it cannot be denied that Chiwenga, a fellow Alpha male, has been thoroughly outmanoeuvred & humiliated by ED. For many years, he was lulled into a false sense of brotherhood with a vision of a shared destiny when in reality ED saw him as a pawn. As CDF, it is him that brazenly breached the Constitution to commit a coup to instil ED into office. That was neither charity nor compassion. It was blind political ambition. He thought that was the only way he could guarantee his own path to power. He was complicit in committing human rights violations & thwarting the peaceful transfer of power when the opposition won elections. It is that culture of cowering the populace through state sanctioned brutality that has returned to haunt him as it has rendered peaceful protests a mirage. He oversaw the brazen interference with electoral processes by the military. He helped sustain the very system that has now been ruthlessly deployed to keep him out of the frame of power. His ego has been wounded massively. A cruel lesson on the art of Machiavellianism has been delivered to him. Most Zimbabweans hold him personally culpable for unleashing the Frankenstein Monster that ED presents - for his own selfish ends - the pursuit of power. The spotlight is now on him. Can he swallow the humiliation & escape ED's clutches? If so, for how long? If not, what viable route is at his disposal to overhaul what looks like his inevitable destiny with ignominy & irrelevance?

🇳🇴 Norway manager Stale Solbakken with a strong response to Folarin Balogun's red card being suspended: 🗣️ Solbakken: "It is a big mistake by FIFA. It is not a great conclusion. He got a red card and the VAR concluded that it was a red card. That means you are suspended for one game. I think what is really bad about that situation is, if the USA beat Belgium, they will always have that extra thing about it. The Belgians will be furious. What about the next red card? What happens there? Will some committee take it away? It’s a bad, bad, bad, bad decision that will hurt the World Cup and the United States."

THE SAD IMAGES of desperate immigrants, coming out of South Africa, particularly during this cold weather, are deeply distressing. ZANU-PF bears primary responsibility for the political crisis and economic collapse that has forced millions of our citizens to seek livelihoods beyond our borders. In 2008, the late President Nelson Mandela described Zimbabwe as “the tragic failure of leadership.” Those words remain painfully true and relevant today. Today, South Africa is paying a heavy price for years of turning a blind eye to disputed elections, supporting rigged electoral processes that lack credibility, and tolerating poor governance in Zimbabwe. We must collectively fix the Zimbabwe problem. A return to citizens and majority rule is urgent! Regional peace and stability depend on accountability, democratic governance, and respect for the will of the people. We stand in solidarity with and support every innocent African affected by events in South Africa. @GovernmentZA @CyrilRamaphosa @daniel_chapo24 @NamPresidency @duma_boko @HHichilema @APMutharika @MatekaneSam @SuluhuSamia @SADC_News

I want to thank LeBron James and his super agent Rich Paul for taking a meeting with me back in 2018 when I was President of the Lakers and deciding to sign with us. He created a whole new era for the Lakers, including leading us to an NBA Championship in 2020 and all the milestones he surpassed in a Lakers jersey. I’ll always love and be grateful for him and wish him all the best in the next phase of his life, on and off the court!

If you believe this nonsense then you as gullible as a motherfucker! The dimwits in Zimbabwe fail to focus on the machinations and intentions of ED in capturing the entire state. The house burned, and the arsonist is standing right there, but some assholes will exert their energy on laying blame on the builders because they used grass as roofing material! Dumbass ho ass imbeciles!
Youngerson Yahwe Matete 🇿🇼@MateteYoung

MDC had a constitution that was violated by both MT & NC. In 2016, MT illegally appointed 2 VPs (EM & NC). NC violated it in 2018 when he illegally took power after MT died. This is the position that was taken by the court. It ordered the party to go back to 2014 structures.

@Phillip_roc @ChikomoPrazen I wish it was that simple ,but ask Adv Fulcrum why he asked NC to lead protests against #CAB3? Why the like of Ibbo ,Hopewell wish NC leave politics altogether? Why NC is on record about who has a mandate? Even NC has come to understand that Zim politics is about personalities

@Phillip_roc @ChikomoPrazen The unity is not about people but to unite for a cause. Look without doubt ,the Zimbabwean politics has its followership as one sheepishly following a certain leader. That has resulted with many people like Sikhala amounting to nothing. Some leaders have abused this support

I have got zero sympathy for you, Zilch! You are a charlatan. You are reaping what you sow. Where is the Robert Mugabe that you defended with bulging veins in your eyes & corruptly helped extend his term in 2013? What is the difference between that & Agenda 2030? To me the objective & the template is the same. It's only the elaborate pageantry that is different. In your case the court case was swift & to the point! You are a third rate analyst together with Hopewell, who is part of your syndicate which specialises in recording audios, leaking them & using them to blackmail others, which is clearly a criminal offence. How do you know what my reasons for leaving Zimbabwe were? You do not assume, you ask, get a response, then analyse. Those are basics in academia. How dim can one be? You support an oppressive system, you were weaponised to prematurely dismantle a Unity Government & prospects for reforms & lasting peace, and then, years later, after you are consumed by your own Frankenstein monster, you plead victimhood??? You have got a penchant for being dramatic. Everything that you say should be treated with a pinch of salt. If you are in danger, it is not because of your love for Zimbabwe. Rather, this would likely stem from factional fallouts in your party of choice, ZANU PF, in the current vicious power struggle. High profile politicians that you have worked with in your party openly characterise you as a political merchant who is prone to sell his soul to the highest bidder, so they do not trust you. I also consider it likely that you have strategically inserted yourself in close proximity to critical figures in the current power struggle matrix to maximise access to sensitive information which you are then likely going to exploit to serve your commercial interests. I consider you to present an exceptional security & intelligence risk to those that patronise you. You will have to come to terms with the fact that I have succeeded in generating an independent identity & legacy professionally, away from Zimbabwean politics. Politically, your assumption that I can only have one source in Chamisa is a reflection of your stunted thinking - together with your sidekick, Hopewell, who cowers behind you & ghost accounts. Where we come from, it is frowned upon to blow one's own trumpet. We live that to others. What I can assure you is this, I feel privileged to be patronised by leading political, academic, and some diplomatic figures across the Zim & regional landscape & some even here in Europe. There are many colleagues that I went to school & Uni with who now occupy senior roles politically, economically & socially - so in objective terms, if you were not blinkered by your unhealthy hatred & obsession with Chamisa, it would have been clear to you how risible your proposition is. I regret to inform you that you are unhinged. You lack intellectual discipline - insight, control, calmness & accountability. You mistake lashing out for rigour & gossip for evidence. I have invited you on numerous times to furnish Zimbabweans with cogent evidence to corroborate your allegations about Chamisa having been bought by ED as you claim but to date, you have still provided nothing. You are like a dog with a bone. It would appear that your are addicted to the accusation itself, you, Hopewell & your criminal syndicate - the strategy is to repeat the charge ad nauseam, working the algorithm, until it "sticks," in spite of the absence of evidence. I consider your claims to vehemently oppose #CAB3 to be tantamount to an Oscar winning performance. You make a strange bedfellow to democracy, good governance & constitutionalism. It is a side dish to you, not the main course. Likewise, I consider your claimed affinity, care, concern & solidarity to the likes of Biti to be contrived, fleeting & transactional. There is something that you are fishing in those circles! Only time will tell. As for me, I am not going anywhere. I am utterly unfazed. I am an immovable force. In time, you will be forced to begrudgingly acknowledge that I am a force to be reckoned with. I will elevate. In a few days' time, you will see me mapping the political landscape expansively & decisively - and your cheap political shots will fade into the horizon. More explosive non-Chamisa sourced revelations are on the way. For what it's worth, the objective is helping to deliver a stable, peaceful & democratic Zimbabwe - that is what my posts will focus on - not this reductive personal stuff that you seem to be obsessed with!
KLG@gwetamanyama

@mawarirej My favourite part is how you smuggle in the tired "got millions from the regime" fairytale as if everyone agreed it was fact. Years of repeating the faitytale havent graduated into evidence. Then @BMutebuka suddenly loses free will and becomes @nelsonchamisa messenger. Comedy😂😂

@ChikomoPrazen You are philosophical and miss the realism of Zimbabwean politics. The "goodwill" which is the bedrock on which Chamisa build on accrued from his co-option by Tsvangirai and despite how he assumed power after MT he is supposed to unite. New comers make it about NC ,not the cause
