In fall 2022 @PHLschools released a timeline for School Selection. Lottery results scheduled to be released this Fri. 1/10. Timeline is now missing from the District website. Families are calling counselors for updates. Please update us! @watlington_sr @PHLschoolboard #phled

@donweezy3 @PHLschools @watlington_sr @PHLschoolboard 😪 Yes, and even worse than that, last year some students met the criteria for criteria-based schools, but received no acceptances. Hopefully this year all students who meet the criteria will get one acceptance before any student gets multiple acceptances.

Seeing them get excited (or not) about my school. Now I hate it. Luck of the draw. Too many kids coming just because they got picked -not bc they want to.

@dadapologist @PHLschools @watlington_sr @PHLschoolboard Yes! If they hit an exexpected snag why not make announcement apologizing, explaining that they had a problem, and saying that the lottery results will be delayed. Families are anxious and want some transparency and clarity.
