I can only imagine the conversations Lurie and AJ have had tbh. The fact that there hasn’t been a public trade request yet is pretty wild lol I’m past the point of delusion that there isn’t some serious tension. Just feels wild how it’s gotten to this point without a formal public request. And guys, if this was all just blatant media nonsense like we’re hoping, AJ Brown would’ve come out and said so by now. No way is a player letting the media dictate a false narrative this badly. Chances are, AJ loves the media continuing to push the narrative that he wants out, so he doesn’t formally have to.

Yeah. I'm not an insider. But it was a rumor I heard b/c he was supped to make $14m this yr & they didn't want to pay him. He signed a 1 yr deal for $7m. (+ a sign bonus) So yes. I thought he'd goto FA rather than take a huge pay cut after season he had. Here's the start of that column where I clearly say it's a rumor. And then read the column.
