This is such a overlooked thing: You don't need insanely neat code or OOP.
If you are only working on the game, why spend hours trying to make it neat.
Make it functional. Players don't see your code. Why stress yourself out with more work?

Some Roblox devs spend more time organizing their code than getting players. Clean code doesn’t matter if no one’s playing your game. Players never see your file structure. Disregard this if you are making a big game or template!

General rule of thumb:
- Under 50th percentile, don't give up straight away. See what went wrong, then IMPROVE!! it.
Also, with the new ad, it learns your audience. The first day or so may be inaccurate to your actual audience, so give it some time =)

Most devs give up on their game too early. I was told that if D1 is way below benchmark (3%) to stop working on the game. A month later, our D1 is at 7% on average. Don’t listen to others. Follow your gut.

Many people kept complaining about child safety issues. This will help most of it.
Condo's can't be profitable anymore because roblox takes them down too frequently and spending 1$ each account severely adds friction to it.

On top of that, if you're serious about developing, you need to get used to spending money.
Spending 1$ (or ID verification) to use:
- Server hosting
- Datastores
- + Much more

Side note: advanced stuff being things that are really physics intensive, story games etc.

It's a great TOOL but not a replacement. In my opinion, you'll fall behind if you don't use it.
I think that scripters with a Claude AI subscription could genuinely be lethal. Scripters are now quick & Claude produces good code.
We still need scripters for the advanced stuff!

People have asked my experience/take on AI so here it is:
- It's a great tool. I'm currently using Claude and even the Haiku 4.5 model is really good.
Can't wait to try Opus 4.6 when I decide to pay for it!
- It's much easier to setup then you expect. Took me 2 minutes.

Erm dude just randomly lost my verified badge? I didn't break any rules or anything, was just playing a game and poof there it goes. Anyone also had this happen?

You can put "and" "or" into the search bar to fine-tune the parameters of your search result.
In this case, I searched for an Instance called "MainUI" and it's parent meaning "NameTag"
This is a minor feature but has saved me quite alot of time!
