@JacintaNgobese @Viwe_Pobana The establishment stands to loose cheap labour across the board, once illegal migrants are removed and deported What makes us think they will take that lying down? Of course, the propaganda machine is in full gear now, throwing mud all round 1st port of call: xenophobia

Ever since March and March has started, we have Marched with memorandums to GOVERNMENT, we have held countless meetings with GOVERNMENT, we have presented to parliament that is GOVERNMENT, when we do operations to remove illegal immigrants we do operations with the police and GOVERNMENT, when we make our demands we make them to GOVERNMENT but for some odd reason when people write their think pieces they always say we are fighting the wrong people…? I’m opening up this platform to engage for those who have ideas on what else we need to do that they feel we haven’t done??? Asilwi? Siyabuza

@peter080458321 @ZANewsFlash @TshilidziTuwan1 The reason politicians don't want digitalisation of public service systems is to avoid the digital trail, to shield their shenanigans All criminal Tom Dick and Harry's have seen the loophole and they are milking the fiscus dry Then politicians will borrow more money to continue

UPDATE: The SIU has obtained a preservation order against a Malawian born businessman, Fumu Mkalira Msiska who together with his South African wife, Gladness Msiska Mkhonto and brother in law, Bongani Mkhonto registered 773 ghost workers and defrauded the UIF TERS fund during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the process, they scored R26 million and bought luxury properties in Middelburg, White River, and Pretoria. They also bought luxury vehicles like BMW, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover and Toyota Fortuner. They used stolen identities, contact details, and addresses of unknown people to lodge the claims. One of their victims was a woman from KwaZulu-Natal who wanted to claim her UIF benefits, but found that a company she had never worked from called A&F Consulting had claimed all her contributions. The Hawks stepped in, leading to the arrest of the three - KZN Tonight Podcast

The R500 million Spaza Shop Fund was announced in 2024 to support South African-owned businesses. Years later, only R44.6 million has been distributed. That’s just 8.9%. While township businesses struggle daily, government sits on the money buried under bureaucracy and delays. This is failure! timeslive.co.za/news/south-afr…

@KhandaniM And that's the difference between a govt that builds and a govt that steals Perhaps as a start we should start with SOCs, that model seems to work better, Telkom being an example I know it's more anecdotal than empirical, but else do we got 🤷

A kidnapping suspect has been shot and killed in Empangeni.  The man was allegedly behind the abduction of a Pakistani businessman on 6 May in Hluhluwe. A ransom of R200k was demanded but R90k was paid as a deposit. That secured the release of the victim but the balance was supposed to be paid on Saturday night.  The SAPS says: “The Empangeni Tactical Response Team (TRT) initiated an operation and a guided drop-off of the outstanding balance was arranged. On Saturday night, a parcel was dropped on the N2 northbound and three suspects, who were travelling in a bakkie, arrived to pick up the parcel.  The TRT officers confronted the suspects and a shootout ensued. One suspect was shot and fatally wounded at the scene, the second suspect fled into the bushes and disappeared in the darkness, whist the third suspect drove off. The bakkie he was driving was found abandoned on the N2 on-ramp at Empangeni.” One gun has been recovered.  A search for the outstanding kidnappers is ongoing.  @eNCA 📸 | @SAPoliceService

KZN Police Boss General Mkhwanazi Says Police Officers Become Frustrated When Drug Dealers Are Arrested Only for Courts to Release them or Give Them Light Sentences Because Correctional Facilities Are Full KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says overcrowded prisons are weakening efforts to fight drug-related crime, as many suspects arrested for dealing drugs receive lighter sentences instead of jail time. He made the remarks in Durban during a meeting involving police, Premier Thami Ntuli, government agencies and anti-illegal immigration groups. Mkhwanazi said police officers become frustrated when drug dealers are arrested, only for courts to hand down alternative sentences because correctional facilities are full. He explained that suspects found with small quantities of drugs rarely serve prison terms, while only those linked to large consignments usually end up in correctional services. He warned that the shortage of prison space has created a cycle where offenders return to the streets after receiving lighter punishments. Mkhwanazi called for more prisons to be built, saying overcrowding was compromising the work of police and the judiciary in tackling crime and repeat offences across the province. During the same briefing, Ntuli said KwaZulu-Natal would continue acting against illegal immigration while respecting human dignity and the rule of law. March and March Movement leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma also criticised African governments for condemning South Africa while failing to address violence and hardships faced by their own citizens.

We closed the Ipi Ntombi Sports Bar in the Pretoria CBD, where more than 40 rooms were being used for illegal activity. ✅We shut down the Savoy VIP Lounge in Marabastad, which had become a front for criminal operations. ✅We are sending a clear message that lawlessness, criminal exploitation, illicit trade, counterfeit goods and illegal activity linked to illegal immigration cannot be allowed to take root in our city.
