Oh, I am annoyed. Got some frozen chicken hearts from @RealCdnSS , was going to make some for my lunch. Sometimes it can be tough to find them, so bought like four packages.
I have no idea what is in these packages, but they are _not_ chicken hearts.

If handguns are allowed to be mailed through USPS: - Criminals can get their hands on firearms more easily - Gun trafficking will increase. That’s exactly what will happen if the Trump admin enacts this dangerous rule. We must reject this major threat to public safety.

@Polysesouvient calls fair market value compensation for seized property (legally acquired and possessed) by the government "nonsense" So, if your property get expropriated for a new high-speed train, don't expect to be compensated with a fair market value.

Saskatchewan's "minister responsible for the firearms secretariat" says it considers recently prohibited guns in hands of their private owners as "seized," claims federal financial compensation is to be determined by Saskatchewan Firearms Office and provincial certificates will protect owners from criminal charges once federal amnesty ends on Oct 30th. Most police killed in the line of duty are shot and mostly with long guns, as the public is reminded once again with this @CTVNews report on the March 2023 murder of two Edmonton police officers. The non-restricted (now prohibited) long gun was domestically sourced, having been initially purchased from a legal store in south Edmonton. The Liberal hunting rifle ban is a wrong-headed billion dollar boondoggle that targets law-abiding Canadians.

I think parents should be parenting. Yes Social Media can be harmful to children hence why ToS of them will stipulate an Age limit. Enforcing it is up to the parents. they provide the internet, they provide the tablet/phone/PC Parents should know what their child is doing with it. Just like you don't let you child play with a chainsaw, knives, hammer, without supervision. Government should stay out of the canadians' living rooms.

BAD move from @WabKinew. Since when is it a "good move" for the government to be parenting children? Why is the government coming into our living rooms and dictate what parents should or should not do? is the government going to dictate what TV shows can be played on TV for my children?

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals.
In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more.
She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined.
She should honour her word and let voters decide.

Due to the #GunLobby's & #GunTrolls' inability to understand the concept of implied meaning or, more likely, its bad-faith insistence on overly literal misreading that totally ignores context (in order to mislead & fearmonger regular gun owners), @BBCWorld has specified that its initial passage referred to #AssaultWeapons, not ALL rifles, as any reasonable person who follows this file would know.
