Yesterday night I saw fire 🔥
My German Shepherd old model has gone on strike since I started my vegetarian journey. Because of her poor performance, monkeys and squirrels have turned my farm into a free buffet. So,they have been unearthing the maize seeds I planted one week ago.
Yesterday I decided enough is enough. I consulted one of my friends who has been misleading me since 1963. He advised me to soak the maize seeds 12 hours in hot pepper water before planting.
He told me, “When the monkeys taste those seeds, they will see fire.” 🔥
I had some habanero peppers I normally use for chicken. I picked them, ground them, mixed with water, then soaked the seeds properly.
My friend, I used my bare hands.
After a few minutes I forgot everything and received a call 📞. While talking, I started feeling heat . Slowly by slowly I realized I was the monkey seeing fire first 😭
I rushed to the bathroom and took a cold shower. Nothing changed. The fire spread like wildfire from my hands to places I cannot mention in a public meeting.
I did not sleep the whole night. Painkillers couldn’t help ..At some point I used ice cubes but still couldn’t extinguish the fire 🔥 i even started negotiating with God and promising to return to eating meat 😭
Pray for me ☹️☹️
To be continued 🥹

@pmukasaofficial @Washing76778564 The cassava too is a heavy feeder, not recommended to be mixed with coffee.

@Washing76778564 By the look of things, they appear to be in a big shade. This affects fruit production. Insteady, the plant just gets leafy. Reduce on the shades in the garden so that light gets to the coffee plants smoothly. The same affected me in areas that I had squeezed matooke with coffee.

Exactly how it should be..
Education is (or used to be) a tool of social mobility.
And you'd be shocked how much the people from Greenhill would learn from someone from Mucwini.

@KakandeAlex @ptwino You go to Greenhill, only to end in Makerere with a guy from Mucwini Primary school

America's first large-scale indoor vertical farm for strawberries in Richmond, Virginia. Using 30-foot towers, it produces over 4 million pounds of strawberries annually on less than an acre of land. This innovative method reduces water use by 90%, land use by 97%, and eliminates the need for pesticides.

The hazards at Kyakabuga that have made this spot a death trap on Kampala Hoima road.
These two potholes, see video, which according to the locals have caused more than 9 serious road crashes most recent of which is one that occurred last weekend involving a truck and the bus that claimed 7 lives on spot.
Why can’t we fix these potholes and eliminate this death trap?
