1/ The govt of Ghana has put the IMF in a great quandary. The govt says it has shown enough commitment to the "prior actions" requirement & thus it would be a betrayal if the IMF leaves town next week without a staff agreement signed. Yet, "commitment" is not achievement.

One of my biggest mistakes early on was using revenue traction as the key signal for choosing startups. Traction definitely isn’t a negative, but there is so much more than the infamous MRR/ARR slide. I now largely make founder and market bets over business bets.
