@rogershelps 5+ hours on the phone with agents to transfer one account with four lines due to death of account holder. BRUTAL PROCESS. DO BETTER @rogers. Train staff just for this. Have a designated option on your phone tree just for this.
@RogersHelps Because I’m these circumstances (death of a/c holder) an account transfer cannot be done online I request that the $75 transfer fee per line be waived. Total $300

@RogersHelps Keeping 3 of 4 lines on the account. Have been on hold for more than half of this 75 minutes (so far) call. Total times spent so far with customer care agents now 4 hours. What is your SLA?
@PineRocker As per rogers.com/support/billin… The final bill for the account will include charges up to the date of death, or the date of last usage, whichever may be later. 2/2

@RogersHelps Last week I received the email back with my interaction ID to quote when I called back. Have been on call for 55 minutes now to provide info to complete transfer. Ridiculous. You need a special dept for this.

2/2 congratulate her and she was lovely, gracious, and kind. She was generous in sharing some memories of working with Mark and I will always remember how that made me feel. My sincere condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
Saddened by @bdthomson‘s passing today. I had the pleasure of meeting her at the 2024 RTDNA Canada awards. She was one of 3 recipients of the National Lifetime Achievement awards, along with Susan Marjetti and my late husband @newsmark. I introduced myself to 1/2
Just passed 40 uninterrupted years as a full time TV reporter starting with CBC News and then Global. (Worked in radio and papers before that, too.)
Got the full time job during the ☘️ shamrock summit with Mulroney and Reagan. Free trade deal came next.
