@Briggsmeta @alphafox I’m with you in principle, but real life is complicated. When you’ve built your life around partnering with her, raising your kids with her, loving her, It’s hard to switch gears. And switch for what? A woman with less love for your child & just as much capacity for betrayal?

@alphafox Only women can abandon all their responsibilities without any repercussions for their actions. The husband is a simp for going back to her, too often men allow themselves to be disrespected to be what they think the "good guy" should do.

Spanish girl gets brutally gang-raped by migrants, ends up paralyzed and developing severe PTSD. The Spanish government offers her assisted suicide as a solution to all of those problems. IDK if that counts as a metaphor because they're doing it literally.

Note on a wife's submission to her husband: Egalitarians push the concept of "mutual submission" based on Ephesians 5:21. The grammatical problems with this way of reading that text have been pointed out many times by the better commentators. The egalitarian reading of the text is a novel interpretation. It's a reading of the text driven by an agenda, not by the actual words. And it is, frankly, asinine. "Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ" does not mean everyone submitting to everyone, which would be absurd. It is a command to respect the various hierarchies God has built into his world (the word "hierarchy" means "sacred order" or "holy rule"). It is a call to respect and live within the good order God has established. It is a command to obey the divine design. Paul spells out what "submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ" looks like in various domains in 5:22-6:9. Wives submit to husbands, children to parents, and slaves to masters. It would be absurd to say these relationships can be flipped around in the name of "mutual submission." Submission only goes in one direction, in the nature of the case. In each of these three domains, Paul uses the word "submit" or it's near synonym "obey" of only one group -- the group under authority. He never reverses the order. He never tells husbands to submit their wives, parents to obey their children, or masters to obey their slaves. He never speaks of wives ruling their households the way he does with men (cf. 1 Timothy 3:4). The relationship most under attack today is the husband/wife relationship. To speak of wives submitting to husbands is anathema in our feminist, egalitarian world. And yet this is precisely why it is urgent for the topic to be addressed. 1/6

Let me get this straight. There's SNAP fraud, EBT fraud, Medicaid and Medicare fraud, home healthcare fraud, daycare fraud, medical transportation fraud, and hospice fraud, but definitely, absolutely no election fraud?

There's a woman in Michigan who has been stalking and harassing me for over 5 years. She has been threatening my employers, getting me fired, and now she is harassing my family members too. I have her phone number now. 5 years ago in 2021 she contacted the church where I worked and told them she would go to the authorities and news agencies because they were employing someone who was writing "anti-vax" songs criticizing covid lockdowns and mandates. The church brought me into a struggle session and demanded I take down the videos. I declined and they fired me one week later for being unvaccinated. After 3 years of lockdowns I got a new job working at UC Santa Cruz...then I was abruptly let go because she contacted them and complained about my songs, again. Then I got a new job as musical director for a local theater company. After doing an incredible job for a year, she contacted them AGAIN and the board fired me. They admitted that my work had been exceptional, but they caved because of the single complaint. They also admitted the person complaining was from Michigan. A few months ago she contacted a new theater I've been working at recently. They reached out to me and admitted the complainer was from out of state, and that everyone locally loved my work. I haven't been rehired since. This week this woman has been spamming my family members with messages complaining about me and telling them to cut ties with me. She also told them she is pro-actively contacting all local venues in my area to tell them not to hire me. So. This has GOT to be illegal right? I should contact a lawyer right? I need a restraining order or something because this is actually insane.

Someone with a Michigan area code is harassing my family members about my videos and contacting all of my employers to get me fired and blacklisted. Imagine being that obsessed and psychotic.

How do racists know what stereotypes to make up? You notice no one ever accuses jews of being violent animalistic chimps and no one accuses blacks of being shapeshifting lying natural lawyers? Why is that since the stereotypes apparently have no relation to reality?

I’ve known my friend Dave since college. He was the kind of guy who built his entire existence around being a provider. He worked grueling fifty-hour weeks, bought a quiet house in the suburbs, and made his six-year-old son, Leo, the absolute center of his universe. Dave was the dad who spent his weekends teaching the kid how to ride a bike and his evenings reading bedtime stories. To everyone looking in, he was the blueprint of a good father. Then came a routine medical scare that tore his reality down to the studs. Leo had a severe allergic reaction that required an emergency room visit and a full blood panel. Dave was sitting in a sterile hospital chair, exhausted but relieved the boy was okay, when the attending physician handed him the chart. The doctor casually pointed out the blood types. Dave is O-negative. His wife is O-negative. Leo is A-positive. It is biologically impossible. In the quiet hum of that hospital room, six years of first steps, scraped knees, and unconditional, absolute love were instantly overshadowed by the most devastating lie a man can experience. When Dave confronted his wife that evening, the thing that permanently broke something inside him wasn't just the betrayal, it was her chilling lack of remorse. She simply stared back at him, her defenses raised, and weaponized his own character against him. "You're the only dad he knows," she told him coldly. "If you leave, you're abandoning your son." She had looked him in the eye in the delivery room, watched him cry tears of pure joy, and allowed him to legally and financially bind his entire life to another man’s child. She had stolen his youth, his labor, and his absolute capacity to trust. But the true, suffocating nightmare began when Dave walked into family court, believing the justice system would protect a man who had been subjected to a six-year fraud. He stood before the judge with undeniable DNA evidence, expecting the law to sever his legal obligations to a deception he never consented to. Instead, the family court system looked at a shattered man and saw only a utility. Under the ruthless application of "presumed father" laws, the judge ruled that because Dave had acted as the financial provider for six years, he was legally obligated to continue. It was deemed in the "best interest of the child." The biological father, the man who actually shared the DNA, remained completely anonymous and entirely free of consequence. Today, Dave lives in a quiet, empty apartment. Every single month, a massive percentage of his paycheck is legally garnished by the state to fund the lifestyle of the woman who orchestrated the ultimate destruction of his life.

@Chizitere_xyz You do realize its ancient law that a woman's husband is the legal father of her children, right? Its not a new concept by any means. Men made this law a long time ago because of how other men act. Take it up with your forefathers who decided this is how society isnrun

The absolute darkest secret of the family court system is how it handles paternity fraud. A man can discover through a DNA test that his partner lied to him for a decade about the biological father of his child. But instead of granting him justice for the ultimate emotional and financial betrayal, the state will routinely force him to keep paying child support. The system literally weaponizes his past love against him, deciding that a woman's financial comfort is more important than a man's right to his own life. It is state-sanctioned extortion disguised as the best interest of the child.

The claim is refuted. Sarah McBride (biological male, born 1990) is a 35-year-old white Presbyterian Christian Democrat man in the US House. However, he is not the only one. Rep. Josh Harder (D-CA, born Aug. 1, 1986) is a 39-year-old white Protestant Christian Democrat man in the US House. No other qualifying examples found among Democrats under 40. Sources: Wikipedia (McBride, Harder bios), Ballotpedia (ages), Pew Research (religious affiliations of Congress members).

It’s so weird to me that investigating fraud is somehow now right-coded. Daycare fraud, hospice fraud, autism fraud…these fraudsters are stealing our federal tax dollars in plain sight. Demanding accountability should not be considered a partisan thing at all.

Simulation theory is like "finding god" for the atheists. The problem and the reason why so many people cringe at the idea of "god" is because popular religion and mass organized religion deconstructed the idea of "God" into a literal cartoon bearded man in the sky that looks like humans and has the same psychology... and treat bible verses as concrete atomized concepts that has no relation to the chapter or to the whole. Thomas Aquinas, perhaps one of the most intelligent men to live, said it best in Summa Theologica. God is the pure spirit with zero body, zero parts, zero location, zero time... almost like a hologram that exists in all space and time at once and nothing at the same time. The essence of existence itself God isn't something human beings can comprehend, just like an amoeba can't comprehend quantum physics. We can't even ask the right questions of reality, and maybe the best we can come up with is "simulation theory"... but even that has a problem of infinite regression of the simulators themselves being simulated themselves and so on. Simpler people think that humans "look like God," but Genesis doesn't say we look like God. It says we were made in HIS image, after HIS likeness. God is the rational soul... specifically ties into our intellect: the power to know, reason, the logos... and will, the power to love and choose freely between good and evil. That's the "image", not something stupid like a mirror selfie, but a real, participatory likeness that's beyond a simple picture. In Christian theology, specifically, this is the idea that god made sub-creators as humans who can ponder creation itself and, in doing so, we humans dimly reflect the ONE who just is existence. This is why Christianity, in its sophisticated form, invites us, humans, towards discovering god's design... and this was precisely why the scientific revolution was born out of the Christian tradition and nowhere else. This is why almost all of the scientists who were godfathers of modern science... Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, Newton, Boyle, Maxwell... were Christian... and even people like Fermi and Einstein were deeply spiritual in the same tradition, even if they weren't specifically "Christian" . Here, the implication is that the language of mathematics itself is a small fraction of god's design. This is why high-IQ people arrive at the same conclusion as the low-IQ people of the uncaused cause. High IQ people see the beauty in the logos, in reason, the rational order, and in math, and see a fractional glimpse of god's design. Low IQ people accept god as the default of existence because they intuit it without reason. It's the midwits who claim atheism because they can't fathom religious thought to be anything sophisticated... classic Dunning-Kruger effect applied to metaphysics

🚨 Simulation Theory: The Double Slit Experiment proves particles act like waves until observed then they snap into particles. What if our reality only "renders" when we're looking, just like a video game optimizing resources? Check out this episode from The Why Files breaking it down, tying it to Simulation Theory. Are we in a sim? This could be the key to unlocking the true nature of existence! The Why Files video did a great job on explaining the Double Slit Experiment & Simulation Theory What do YOU think—real or rendered? Drop your thoughts below!

I grew up watching my cousin, David, be the ultimate protector. He was the kind of guy who would pull over in the pouring rain to help a stranger change a tire. He was gentle, solid, and fiercely loyal. So, when he called me at 2:00 AM last july from the county jail, the sound of his broken voice didn't even compute in my brain. "She called the police," he whispered, his voice trembling like he couldn't catch his breath. "They took me." I knew his fiancé. We all knew her. I had sat at family Thanksgiving dinners watching her belittle him, roll her eyes at his accomplishments, and pick vicious fights out of thin air. But David always absorbed it. He was raised to believe that a good man takes the hit, stays calm, and protects the peace at all costs. That night, she had cornered him in the kitchen of the home he bought for them. When she started throwing things and swinging wildly at his face, he didn't fight back. He just caught her wrists to stop her from hurting him. But when the flashing red and blue lights pulled up to his driveway, the truth didn't matter. The police walked in and saw a six-foot-tall man and a crying woman. They didn't care that his shirt was torn. They only looked at the faint, defensive red marks on her wrists where he had desperately tried to hold her back. Watching David go through the justice system has been the most heartbreaking experience of my life. I have watched a vibrant, hardworking man be completely dismantled by a system that defaulted him to a perpetrator based solely on his gender. He was legally exiled from his own house. He drained his entire life savings to pay defense attorneys just to prove he wasn't a monster. But the most devastating part isn't the money, it's the light that died in his eyes. He lives in a sterile, half-empty apartment now. He flinches when his phone rings. He is terrified of his own shadow. The system didn't just fail my cousin; it punished him for surviving. And the absolute hardest part for me, as someone who loves him, is knowing that I can't protect him from a world that has already decided he is the villain.
