@curedivy @Memu0_0u @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie Miss the woman in that video is in her late 20s. You are also not a teenager. We are all in the same decade. No one is calling you black. Especially that girl in the video who lives in the middle of Essex. Lol

@PinkRhynos @Memu0_0u @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie Speak to generations besides the one you are from, because perhaps ypu are older if you are able to say smth like "in the past thirty years" the woman in the video is obviously not that age. I am not that age, we are talking about a newer phenomenon.

@curedivy @Memu0_0u @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie Miss you live in the UK. In real life. Your social and legal status is mixed race. A lot of Black women are making videos because a lot of anti black biracials with racist white moms like to talk for black people.

@Memu0_0u @PinkRhynos @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie There is a reason ahy black women on socials are being forced to make videos saying we are not black... bc they are v much fighting a rise in people tryong to be American. There's a reason they are getting ate up it is bc of mixed ppl told the opposite by blk ppl + those blk ppl

@curedivy @Memu0_0u @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie There's never been a time in the last 30 years where mixed people have even been widely considered black in the UK. Mixed has been a distinct legal category in the UK your entire life. Stop it. You do not live in America.

@Memu0_0u @PinkRhynos @loverofdagame_ @blixberrie Do we know each other? You made this tweet like we have crossed paths before and you have asked me, specifically before. In my real life experience in London this was my childhood & adolescence ans the mixed ppl ik. But we also had sm who knew we weren't black.

It’s funny to watch a group of British Nigerians, living in the nation of their former colonial masters, tease a white girl raised in Nigeria, for speaking of her experiences of Nigerian Independence Day. That girl is more culturally Nigerian than everyone sat around that table mocking her…
Oyindamola🙄@dammiedammie35

She has a full Nigerian accent 😂✨

@PinkRhynos @ifunanya_ga @The_Only_Barbie Yall have these weird ass generalizations in your head lmfao. Why would I care where she lives? This is the internet, not rl. I’ve spoken to people from Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe—it makes no difference?? That’s the beauty of technology!

@PinkRhynos @FA087X @albieamankona Well I would agree with you; but she definitely has the culture of some Nigerian ethnicity I don’t know which one, but despite not being that ethnicity she has a culture.

@loverofdagame_ @blixberrie No, just 2 things can be true at once. This is the mixed experience which is WHY a black british woman was getting ate up at all. Because people force us into one label out of monoracism.

@asdasdasda4zf @FA087X @albieamankona She's a Nigerian if she has Nigerian citizenship. Its doesnt require my blessing. its a legal status. It either is or isn't. But a person cannot be more "culturally Nigerian" . Because culture in Nigeria is ethnic. And she is not have a Nigerian ethnic culture.

@PinkRhynos @albieamankona Nationality is your passport, ethnicity is your ancestry, where your parents come from. She will definitely have a Nigerian passport, so why can’t you accept her as Nigerian? The majority of white british people accept black british people to be British.

@exiilexq @ifunanya_ga @The_Only_Barbie The woman lives in Essex, UK. 99% of the black women she will interact with will be Black British. She's not talking about you or "the rest of the world". Stop centering yourself.

@PinkRhynos @ifunanya_ga @The_Only_Barbie I would love an example of me centering myself here. I’ve lived in both Asia and North America and this is an occurrence in both areas, but please, make this about solely America. You lot seem to love Americans

@PinkRhynos I’m getting heavy anti-Blackness and low facial self-esteem and identity crises from this one. It’s very evident she doesn’t interact with Black women on a day-to-day basis outside of social media and is just regurgitating Black American discourse around race.

@PinkRhynos @albieamankona So what’s the point of this country we call Nigeria? If its culture or cultures does not exist?
