Okay, enjoy that and other people will enjoy not that stuff. Him making that garbage proves that is was a good decision. A network would have to completely abandon their values, and risk losing all advertisement to air that shit and thats not worth it. Which is why they will never be on air. Even though they had aspirations for that at one point.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee Yes, within legal limits, you should be able to express your opinion without reprisal. We should update the Civil Rights Act with that in mind. This show, where he smears shit on the walls, made Sam a millionaire, thus proving that AS made a bad financial decision.

Under contract they dont. It's why people get fired. Lmao. You still just have this idea that you should be able to say anything you want and nothing bad should ever happen. That is a fantasy. And yep thats exactly what i was talking about. You linked a depraved streaming show where they smear poop on the walls. You can keep that! Keep it away from me. Thats bad for the soul. That shit has no place in civilized society.

Sam, as showrunner, writer, and executive producer of the show, represents the company that funds the show. If Sam and the show were totally separate entities, it wouldn't have been an issue. Anyways, keep calling them out. I bet adult swim will see your message, look up what Sam is up to right now, and realize how wrong they were about him!

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee Sam's show represented Turner. Sam represented himself. Private companies are allowed to do as they wish; I'm allowed to call them out for it. Also, a good part of WB, which owns AS, is in California, where political opinions are a protected class.

Your point is idealistic because we live in a world with consequences. They weren't entitled for a permanent spot on AS. They had to earn the spot, the funding, the resources. Its not unreasonable, but its unrealistic. Workplace and work hours are irrelevant. Sam was funded $1mil by AS and represented Turner whether in Atlanta filming or tweeting from Massachusetts. The only thing you can say is that you think it was bad. Now, the right wing people can't be on the cool kid channel. Oh well. I blame Sam for putting politics above MDE and you blame the network for not standing up for his politics. Ok.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee My expectations are completely fair. It is perfectly reasonable for a company to say that they do not concern themselves about events outside the workplace and work hours, and anyone who can't accept that is the only actual liability for any company that wants to make money.

Sam had free expression on AS. Jews rock aired, blackface peanut arbuckle aired. Your point is totally idealistic and you can't even acknowledge any of Sams mistakes. Your expectations are unfair in the real world where liabilities impact business. And once again if you care about politics more than just TV entertainment, then go support a media company that is more aligned with your values.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee No, what I expect is for people not to make concessions to whiny leftists on the internet. Adult Swim's principles should be free expression, which they failed at. I'm, of course, defending a person's right to express himself publicly without fear of reprisal.

You look at it like a bad decision because you expect the whole world to make concessions for you and your beliefs. At the end of the day, a company is supposed to stand by their principles. If Sam had valued the MDE team over online politics, the network would have said go make season 2. They were all preparing for season two and sam buckled down on his online beliefs. Crazy how you are defending that lol.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee Yeah, I agree. It was a business decision. A very bad one, which I am calling out. They should have said that they don't care about Sam's Twitter posts and to watch something else if you don't like it.

Even if you are contracted there is still representation. World Peace was legally bound to adult swim which is why they couldnt use the name World Peace 2. And wow even a decade later they said we dont want you using our copyright. Thats how that happened in real life, not in theory.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee No, it doesn't. A company hires you to do a specific job. Anything you do outside of work hours, unrelated to your job, is none of their concern. And Sam wasn't employed by Adult Swim. He had a contract with them to produce a show for their channel, making him a contractor.

@Pinpadcubed @CountDankulaTV @MikeTonello @big_emtee I fail to see how Sam Hyde's Twitter feed is a part of the Adult Swim network for anyone who's not a whiny loser. And the idea that "Adult" Swim, a network specifically designed for mature shows, is not political can only be described as retarded, btw.

@RT_com @LawyerFrenGal I hope he needs security to walk around after this. I hope he lives in constant fear of what everybody on the right who shows their face on the internet or on television or at college campuses has to fear. It's only fair. It's the only thing that will fix things too.

I'm a huge infowars and alex jones fan and think this stunt by Tim is kind of pointless, and also ignores the fact that Alex Jones apologized for Sandy Hook, and that he revolutionized independent radio/journalism. But a lot of the Tim haters fail to recognize that Tim's liberalism being so in-your-face that it antagonizes them all is kind of incredible. Tim being an actually funny guy with a good career, no scandals, and unwavering progressive opinions, while being 6'3 is rare.

The Onion’s Alex Jones “parody” plan flops for three big reasons: First, satire only lands when the audience actually knows the target. Real Infowars fans won’t tune in. The only viewers will be people who just think “conspiracy man bad.” It would’ve been smarter to invent an original character based on a cartoon version of Jones and rightwing conspiracy people like what Colbert did with Fox News hosts and the Colbert Report. Second, Infowars viewers have spent a decade dealing with many of their favorite content creators being deplatformed. They will have no problem following Jones to whatever comes next. He is the brand. They’ll migrate and forget Infowars ever existed and so will everyone else. Third, Tim Heidecker isn’t funny, which is kind of a big problem when you consider the other two problems. Someone with a lot of talent might have been able to carry the bad idea, but that someone is not Tim. I suspect this will be as short lived and forgettable as many of the other preachy unfunny lefty projects that have come and gone over the years.

@LowresWB What is an example of when humor was "the ultimate"? Because Tim taking over InfoWars was obviously more about retribution and taking something from Alex Jones, not humor. Because Tim and the onion are comedy, of course they will redress InfoWars to fit what they're good at.

The onion, and Tim Heidecker will go down as the biggest failure in history, bro really bought infowars to make himself look more guilty as a satanic pedo. Right out the gate he makes a parody of Alex, and drinks blood. You can’t make this stuff up, it’s not funny it was completely cringe, and extremely creepy. All you are doing is making the Alex Jones network stronger freak.

@big_emtee @CountDankulaTV Sam had to beg his friends to come back to work with him because he stabbed them in the back. Unlike Tim who has had consistent work for the past 20 years with loyal employees who love working with him.
