Alright, time to write it down again. These are my professional goals that I want to accomplish before next #WWDC26! 🎯 1.Deepen my knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI by perfecting my GitHub projects – mastering through making! 🧠💻 2.Organize a bigger community event and make it truly memorable. 🎤👥 3.Hit $500 MRR – building not just for fun, but for value. 💸📈 4.Launch a full-fledged SaaS project from the ground up. ☁️🚀 5.Be a part of the product I believe in — build fast, shape boldly, and make it truly mine. ⚡️🔥 I’ll pin this again and see how well it ages… 😏 #WWDC25 #SwiftLang #SwiftUI #iOSDev #IndieDev #BuildInPublic #SaaS #MRR #DevGoals #AppStore 📸 Apple Park: a different perspective, but still perfect!

#SteveJobs, already CEO of #Apple, announced at #WWDC98 the work on Mac OS X. It was meant to be the final stage of the OS transformation. 🚀 #WWDC became a more important dev event as Cocoa, Quartz, and others were introduced. 2001 was the year when the #iPod were released! 🎶

@HHaandr @RevenueCat @_chuckyc I know it's more of a nice thing, but I didn't manage to distribute all the goodies (swag) because they arrived late. Which is no bad thing, because I'll be happy to use them this year! Small paper bags could be a nice addition to hand out gifts to local participants

@HHaandr @RevenueCat @_chuckyc *local recognition* - local communities could have their own small "recognition awards" board to motivate participants to participate and give them the opportunity to be recognized in a global ranking.

#WWDC97 was the first conference after Apple’s purchase of NeXT. It was announced that #SteveJobs would return as a consultant.🦄 NeXT and OpenStep gradually evolved into Mac OS. A new OS called Rhapsody later became known as Mac OS X Server.🛜 The show focused on ongoing work.

It wasn’t a good time for #Apple. The Copland project never saw the light of day - there wasn’t even a beta version for developers. All four products were quickly discontinued. 📉🛑 Only the return of #SteveJobs saved the company from disaster.

On May 8, 1995, the 6th #WWDC took place. The main topic was the Copland project - a modern implementation of #Mac OS. 📦 Cyberdog and OpenDoc were also presented. #WWDC 1996 continued these projects. The Pip Pin game console was the big novelty. 🕹️ #WWDCHistory #AppleEvent

The period for #WWDC in 1991-94 was a breakthrough. It was then that many tech that we know to this day appeared. 📈 System 7.5, #QuickTime, #PowerPC, #AppleScript, ColorSync, Cross-platform multimedia, #Macintosh Drag and Drop, Object-oriented programming and many more! ⚙️🧰

Worldwide Developers Conference was organized by #Apple in 1990. It marked the official beginning of #WWDC as we know it today! 🤩 San Jose welcomes devs again! 👨‍💻 The #AppleEvent was captured on VHS and participants got dev CD & gadgets. The whole event was very impressive. 🥳

The story of #WWDC is very strongly connected with two Convention Centers. 🏬 In 1989, for the first time, #Apple organized #DevCon at the newly-built McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, CA. 🎉 The main topic was System 7 code-named "Big Bang" which was renamed into Mac OS. 🤩

DevCon ’88 ran in spring and summer, unveiling new graphics and protocol support plus System Software 6. These two events took place in the old San Jose Civic. The next and last DevCon had a significant impact on the further history of #WWDC.

1987’s #Apple Developer Conference, or #DevCon for short, was aimed directly at developers. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Spring 1987 brought Macintosh II and multitasking. The conference moved to Santa Clara, CA. 🔍
