Here's a head-spinning piece of genuinely innovative & leading thinking. WHY ON EARTH ARE AGRICULTURAL CONFERENCES HELD IN CAPITAL CITIES. Imagine how much good the $100,000s involved in @evokeAG would do if spent in a regional community. And: more farmers would attend #agchatoz

@roseycatherine @imontheroadagn @simonekain @timgentle Their world is a very different one to ours and those of older generations. Technology and the encouragement of self regulation must be coupled together. We can’t fight it.....I spend a lot of time on tech also for work and personally.

Lad who works for me, 19, lost his mum to MND 3 years ago. This morning, his house burnt down, his father in it. Dead. As is his sheep dog. Devastated. Numb. Anyone with any experience of how to set up fund raisers? Homeless orphans (has a sister 21 too) need a break. Battlers.

My spin on the latest #4corners story on water: Water managers are already currently not doing enough to fix the problems they are aware of in the #BasinPlan so why do we want to dig deeper and find more problems to not do much about? We don’t need a Royal Commission #Leadership

Heading home today, call in at a mates place near Wagga, then rest of the way tomorrow. I don’t think there has been any rain at home, good rains northern and w#rstern NSW. All the very best to those with a full rain gauge. 👍💧

Today we buried a fellow farmer, only 42. Left behind a wife, 2 sons, as well as parents and a sister. This seems to hurt more because of how dry it is and the general depressed feeling the season leaves most with. Please look after yourself and take time to care for others.
