Close down Labour Friends of Israel. It is an undemocratic, unaccountable lobby organisation embedded in The Labour Party and the UK government. Its primary function is to silence support for the Palestinian people in politics, culture, higher education and in every sphere of public life in Britain. Its mission statement - displayed at every one of its conventions - is to advocate for a two state solution. This is an egregious deception for Labour Friends of Israel and every one of its compromised members have remained silent as Gaza has been obliterated before our eyes, while the West Bank and East Jerusalem are being systematically ethnically cleansed of Palestinians. In this fantasy two state solution where in the world does @_LFI envisage a Palestinian state to be? And proof that the two state solution myth was and remains a cynical diversion was evident as Labour Friends of Israel welcomed with open arms to their conventions and Labour Party conferences the unapologetic racist - Israel ambassador Tzipi Hotovely. Hotovely who has repeatedly said that there will never be a two state solution, who said that Palestinians have no history, who associates with fascist organisations such as Lehava who support the killing of all Arabs, who said that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza, who justifies the total destruction of Gaza and who justifies illegal settlements in the West Bank. This is who Labour Friends of Israel are really in step with ideologically. Like Hotovely, Labour Friends of Israel are racists who have hijacked The Labour Party. And just look at the number of prominent Labour MPs and Labour Friends of Israel members who lined up to have their photo taken with Hotovely. The same corrupt Labour MPs who are calling @ZackPolanski and @TheGreenParty extremists. Labour Friends of Israel MPs, aspiring MPs and members regularly visit Israel on funded trips. Do they meet with Israeli officials who also seek a two-state solution? It wouldn’t appear so. Instead, these MPs meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, a man whose every utterance echos the views of Tzipi Hotovely. Isaac Herzog who was photographed autographing rockets destined to blow up men, women and children in Gaza, who has said that “there are no innocent civilians in Gaza,” and who is an indicted war criminal at the International Court of Justice. And just as Labour Friends of Israel members were more than happy to be photographed with Tzipi Hotovely so they are delighted to be photographed with Isaac Herzog. So much for being seen with people who advocate for a two-state solution. Labour Friends of Israel instead fraternise with Israeli officials who want to see the complete destruction of Palestine and the removal - by whatever means necessary - of the Palestinian people from Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Labour Friends of Israel are fully complicit in these aims despite their fraudulent appearances to the contrary. It has now been revealed that Rupert Murdoch and Benjamin Netanyahu pressured Trump into bombing Iran. I confronted one of Murdoch’s employees with a leaked handwritten note from Netanyahu’s political office implying that Murdoch was one of his funders.

A British court has heard evidence that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) “misled” its audience during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. The evidence was presented as part of documents in a case being heard by a UK employment tribunal, in which five journalists of Arab origin accuse the BBC of discrimination and of unfairly dismissing four of them for refusing what they described as racist and discriminatory practices within BBC Arabic service. The five complainants are Ahmed Rouaba, of Algerian origin; Dima Odeh, of Syrian origin; Nahed Najar, of Palestinian origin; and Mohamed El-Ashiry and Amer Sultan, both of Egyptian origin. The claimants are represented in the case by John Barnes from Albertson Solicitors. This is the first case of its kind brought by this number of journalists from the Arabic of the BBC Service of World Service against the long-standing news corporation. Veteran journalist Amer Sultan, who is of Egyptian origin and one of the five claimants, accused BBC management of unfair dismissal. He said this was partly due to his reporting of what he described as “serious breaches” of the BBC editorial guidelines in the early weeks of the Israeli war on Gaza, which began on 7th October 2023. During last court session, it was revealed that Sultan—who worked for 17 years on the BBC’s Arabic website and television—had reported examples of breaches of the Guidelines to BBC World Service management. According to case documents, Liliane Landor, the former director of the World Service, held what were described as “listening sessions” to understand what went wrong and to discuss the reasons behind mistakes made by the BBC at the start of the war.
