So the taxpayers paid you to cry at work for 2 hours
Sarah Potter@__SarahPotter
I’m not ashamed to say that I spent 2 hours in tears at work yesterday. I’d had enough of being shouted at despite doing my absolute best for my patients. I’m exhausted. The system is broken. My team are broken. And now I’m planning how to pay for Christmas AND new school shoes

@Pippa_jam Ahh Pip, you’re so lush. Can you sack off your other job and come back to CED now please?

@roisinamcc I like that it's midweek because obviously you're on call at the weekend

@RCEMpresident any idea when the MRCEM SBA results are being released? They're 4 weeks late and we've only been told it'll be this week. Thanks!

@dr_emmacoombe @Xeon4f145d96s1 A lot of the recruitment was via a Whatsapp group and a lot of the voices on the group were loud and male.
Asked a question and got some very curt & patronizing responses. Think lots of people feel it was "not the vibe"

@Xeon4f145d96s1 Why do you think so few women applied? Lots to reflect on

If you're in the East Midlands, I would appreciate your 1st choice vote.
I'm running for co-chair with the excellent @KiaraVin1.
We are experienced, hardworking JDC reps with the skills and knowledge to have a shot at getting #PayRestoration done.

@JadeTaylor8 @Dr_R_Acres Ignore my previous comment, you're clearly a fulltime "point-misser"

In light of #MedTwitter's latest binfire (teabag-gate)
I think it's useful to note that in an environment in which trusts are directly employing insufficient numbers of staff on unacceptable rates of pay; they need to consider non-pay factors which they can affect... 🧵
English

@JadeTaylor8 @Dr_R_Acres @theRCN @TheBMA I think you may have massively missed the point of the thread, it's advocating for positive changes to help retention of all staff.
And I'm not sure the "support" staff is referencing nurses or members of the MDT at all
