$SGMO now confirmed they have an investment banker helping. This means the investment banker is in control of the negotiation process and they are precluded from giving any material information that could interfere with the BD discussions.

$SGMO Seeing some speculation, so let me clarify a few things: 1. I have very little time to be online on X lately. And yes — I’m also annoyed by the anti-communication approach from management and the fact that they’re not using support where it’s needed. I’m still fully here for Sangamo. I’m not worried about the final outcome though. 2. What I did hear is that there was a setback with the anticipated Fabry partner shortly before ER (reason unknown to me). Because of that, Sangamo is no longer relying on one single partner path — they’re exploring alternatives, likely also including a full sale of the Fabry asset. 3. Sangamo still has plenty of options. And no — Sandy hasn’t approached me yet on supporting them. P.S. Short-term SP moves are annoying, but the thesis has not changed. If anything, this is an opportunity for anyone who wants to drastically average down. Accumulate. As simple as that. In a few months, you’ll likely be very grateful — and all of this pain will have been worth it.
