Would you look at that – two felons meeting in the Oval Office to tout election conspiracy theories. We know Colorado’s elections are safe and secure. We’ll keep fighting to protect your right to vote and fighting back against Trump’s lies and suppression.

As I have been saying, I need to relocate to South Carolina. Between all the lithium, EV, and critical mineral projects going on, I would be pretty much in the center of it all. USA Rare Earth $USAR is putting a $1.2 billion NdFeB magnet and refined metals facility in Blacksburg, SC (Cherokee County). About 490 jobs. Targeting 6,400 tpa of magnets and 5,000 tpa of strip-cast metal and alloy at that site, with commissioning slated for 2028. Just need to get some more subscribers to the old Substack, and who knows maybe I will even be able to put Droney 2 back into the sky. greenvillebusinessmag.com/stories/usa-ra…

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sell Tesla shares? I did for the first time today letting it go at $442 to buy this beautiful piece of property. We have held Tesla for almost 7 years and haven’t sold a single share, just accumulated. Today was the day. Fortunately, it was only a small fraction of our 100% Tesla portfolio.

@SenatorHick DHS is threatening to end processing international flights where federal immigration laws are not enforced. Do you think that’s going be a bad thing for Denver International Airport? Any plans to address this potential problem for Coloradans?

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

No this is not what has happened. The court ruling was for 7 specific projects that went to court. The federal judge, well here let me paste it from the actual filing since yes I read all of that stuff too. “For the foregoing reasons, the court concludes that Defendants’ grant-termination decisions violate the Fifth Amendment. The court therefore enters judgment in favor of Plaintiffs on the equal protection claim but dismisses the First Amendment claim. The October termination notices for Award Nos. EE0011131, EE0011801, EE0019951, EE0011133, EE0010930, EE0010622, and FE0032276 are hereby vacated.” The ABAT grant was not part of the court case. All together, 284 previously terminated grants were effectively brought back into consideration under “retain/modify.” There are still 364 grants that were yanked that were not added to the list. That is all we know right now, and since it was terminated it is not retained; it would be modified. Also in April the DOE submitted a new list with 2,000 grants that they now have listed as retained or modified; around 1,600 of them were never on any list before this. And going off the FY2027 proposed budget that President Trump submitted, he is trying to make sure the funding of a lot of the grants that were established using the IRA is just removed. So no, there is nothing Ryan could talk about, since they most likely do not know what is going on beyond that they submitted a review because the budgets are still being tossed around Congress. And also, I mean this with the most respect possible, please do the research before you post stuff like this. It always ends up in my DMs and I have so much to do, and while I don’t mind answering stuff like this it does take me away from my day job of making sure Abe is rolling in doggy snacks. But once again my DMs are open here and on Substack.

Last week in front of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, @SecretaryBurgum was asked by @SenCortezMasto : Are you willing to process solar and wind project permits? And the Secretary’s response was: Yes Then today I saw that the @DeptofWar was basically putting reviews for onshore wind projects into a desk drawer at the motor pool. When President Trump closes a door he rushes to close the widows as well.

#SGMO My wife asked me why I'm still in $SGMO at $0.19. After 15 minutes of explaining, she surprisingly agreed — and we bought more: Sangamo is for me the Apple of the '90s — in medicine. A company with world-class technology, an unmatched and — crucially — to date undisputed patent portfolio. I know probably 90% of people will disagree with me. But I genuinely believe Dr. Sandy Macrae is a visionary who is 100% committed to his company and its mission. To stick with the Apple comparison: He's not Jobs — he's Wozniak. Forgive me the comparison. "Drumming up hype" isn't his strength. Medicine is. If there's criticism: The pivot to Fabry as the lead program probably came too late. Years were spent on partnerships that didn't work out. The focus and the hard cuts should have happened earlier. But they happened — and what's left is the strongest core of the portfolio. Watch this video. Dr. Sandy Macrae, 25+ years in medicine, presenting ST-920 to Fabry patients and families. His voice breaks. "I have been doing drug development for 27 years. This is the most beautiful medicine I have ever seen." This is not marketing. This is a physician who knows what his team built — and fought to keep it alive. youtube.com/watch?v=2AsXPE… (from 14:05) What Sangamo actually owns — to date, all key patents undisputed: Zinc Finger Platform — 25+ years, hundreds of patents. The foundation of epigenetic gene regulation. No DNA cuts, no CRISPR risks. ST-920 (Fabry) — BLA 60%+ submitted to FDA. eGFR improves instead of declining. All 18 ERT patients off biweekly infusions. 4.5 years durable. QC-verified results published on ClinicalTrials.gov. ST-503 (Chronic Pain/Nav1.7) — IND-enabling studies complete. 60% target knockdown in primates. Phase 1 ready. Addressing an $80B+ pain market. ST-506 (Prion Disease) — Brain-wide suppression in primates via single IV dose. First potential treatment for a 100% fatal disease with zero approved therapies. STAC-BBB Capsid — Licensed to Eli Lilly ($1.4B in milestones), Genentech, and Astellas. Three of the world's biggest pharma companies paying for access to Sangamo's brain-penetrant delivery technology. MINT Platform — Reprogrammed integrase achieving 28–35% targeted gene integration in human T cells. No double-strand breaks. A safer alternative to CRISPR for CAR-T cell engineering. Patent granted. nAbCyte Companion Diagnostic — Validated anti-AAV6 antibody assay. Patent granted. Effectively a toll booth for every AAV6-based gene therapy in existence. Programs were cut along the way. Not because the science failed — because the money ran out. Hemophilia A, Sickle Cell, Beta-Thalassemia, CAR-Treg — all sacrificed to keep the core alive. 478 employees cut to 183. Hard decisions. Sandy cut everything except what matters most. And now they're here. BLA nearly complete. Four abstracts accepted at ASGCT 2026. Three Big Pharma licensees. A patent fortress. $78M market cap. The only thing missing is 3–6 months of runway. In my eyes, that's all. That's the gap between $0.19 and a platform that could define the next 20 years of genetic medicine. SEC compliance and likely ongoing negotiations prevent Sandy from saying what he'd want to say. But the science speaks for itself. Speaking of undisputed patents: How many people are fighting over CRISPR money right now? How many patent disputes are still ongoing there? I see no reason, and no possibility, for this company to disappear from the face of the earth. The patents alone are priceless in the near future. Not financial advice, just common sense (or maybe not). But in all seriousness: If this medicine were to be withheld from Fabry patients because of a bankruptcy, or because Big Pharma wanted to pick up the pieces for pennies — knowing these patients have no real alternative — that would be a crime against humanity in my eyes.

JUST IN: Former staffer of Eric Swalwell says he s*xually assaulted her twice, says she woke up in his bed with no clothes on. The first incident reportedly took place in 2019. Swalwell has been married since 2016. The woman says she was hired at the age of 21. At one point in 2019, Swalwell pulled out his pen*s and asked her to perform oral s*x on him. She did so in a parking lot, according to the SF Chronicle. Later that same year, the former staffer says she was invited out for drinks with Swalwell. She says she became so intoxicated that she does not remember the rest of the night. She claims she woke up with no clothes on in Swalwell's hotel bed and claims she could feel "the effect of vag*nal intercourse," according to the SF Chronicle. In April of 2024, the woman, who did not work for Swalwell at this time, attended a charity gala where Swalwell was present. The woman says she became "inebriated" while getting drinks with him after and can barely remember the night. She says she told him "no" as he forced himself on her. The woman says she was s*xually assaulted by Swalwell. She says she "blacked out" but "woke up once during it and even told him to stop at one point." The woman's friend and then-boyfriend say she told them about the alleged assault the next day. Swalwell has denied the accusations and has since sent a cease-and-desist letter. The representative previously said in 2018 that alleged victims "deserve to be heard." Source: @sfchronicle

@JaxSmith48060 @giveashitnature Technically you could put turbines in the downsloping areas of the aqua duct as well since the aeration from the turbines doesn't affect crops and there is no fish in it to worry about. Recapture the energy used at the pumping stations. I don't see how it could kill birds...

Solar canals are coming. A 2021 study by UC Merced and UC Santa Cruz found that covering parts of California’s 4,000 miles of canals with solar panels could save up to 63 billion gallons of water each year. They would also generate 13 gigawatts of clean energy - about half the new capacity the state needs by 2030.
