It's how we end up getting less scary sequels to horror games. They poll about horror titles and constantly get back "It was too scary to play" and then they tone down the sequel to include everyone and it ends up sucking for actual horror genre fans who want their games scary.

@117ChiefMaster @SurvivorNo0322 No, Resistance was supposed to be an standalone game like Reverse or all the other failed multiplayer RE titles, but Capcom saw it had no future (and they were right) so they just discarded it with 3.
The development of one had nothing to do with the other.

6 years ago Capcom marketed Resident Evil 3 Remake with a full map of Raccoon City & the Clock Tower… baiting fans with nostalgia for a game they butchered & rushed out the door right after RE2R.
The final version barely had any city, & the Clock Tower was completely skipped🖕🏼

I wouldn't consider it blocked if your console is region free and buy an Asian-English version from Play Asia. Crucial information your missing there. Weirdly enough, Team Ninja probably makes more money this way.
