@xMBGx No way. Even if they think it's good idea - remember Steam also change its ..you buy license, and do not own game once taken out you can't start it. The one smart thing to do is create a new, comfortable license type for the • new days •

Yes, probably to be frank - this is not enough to abandon a believe. Nearly 7y prior core gamers sensed a switch in companies goals (at front gaming, not just Sony)
Sony is by far the largest & best in all, so it will hurt less when Xbox & others decide to ditch some play styles 'cause it'll hurt a lot less.

A: 1) Sony rethinks and on a newly endnote states it keeps them at least partially
2) lengthy ... I new player gets to host a large scale gathering with intent of Gamers Unite and keep physical available under separate license per asset
3) We create a concrete new license type to guarantee game (asset) ownership, physically based sys

@MarioNawfal Agree. No point of complexity to solve something that shouldn't be a question to start with it if being fair.

🇪🇺 Finnish MEP to the EU: Stop letting video games get "deleted" for good when companies shut them down.
Maria Ohisalo, a lifelong gamer, says she can still play her old 90s console games, but tons of newer ones are just gone, killed off when a publisher pulls the server, sometimes without even telling players.
Her point ties into the Stop Destroying Video Games campaign, backed by 1.3 million Europeans: if you buy something, you should own it.
She is not asking studios to preserve everything forever, just to let games survive once the servers die.
Gamers have been saying this for years. It is refreshing to hear a lawmaker say it back.
