I follow @AdejokeLasisi, it is beautiful to see how she is redefining recycling and reusing of waste together with her team at @Planet3r . I see products she is able to make and i marvel at what innovation and putting our heart out for the planet can achieve.

After ECO-AFCON, my ECO-VISIT to Planet 3R in Ibadan, Nigeria. Adejoke Lasisi is simply an innovator, an entrepreneur and above all an inspirational woman. Her dedication to hardwork and cre'ARTivity, the exemplary leadership and the joyous working environment in which her employees and collaborators give the best of themselves have already contaminated me. The President Founder of Planet 3R warmly welcomed me in her workshop in the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd of February 2024 in Ibadan Nigeria. Planet 3R is a social enterprise dedicated to converting textile and plastic wastes into eco-friendly products using the 3R ( Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to save our planet Earth by weaving them into innovative items. With the vision of creating a sustainable world without textile and plastic wastes, it became necessary for them at Planet 3R to reduce the landfill space by recycling clothes and nylons. After successfully running the first activities of the "World's Largest Lesson on AFCON 2023 Zero Plastic Pollution" in Côte d'Ivoire, the question we have been asking ourselves is: "What will become of the plastic nylons and bottles we and other parties involved in the AFCON collected and are still collecting ?" In our search for recycling solutions, we discovered Planet 3R. As the Francophone Africa Coordinator for the World's Largest Lesson, I planned a visit to meet with Planet 3R and discuss possible partnership and collaboration. The more than 2 billion people that enjoyed the AFCON 2023 around the world might have returned to their day to day business as usual. But the thousands of plastic waste generated by the most beautiful AFCON ever should not add to the carbon emissions we are already suffering from.
