@BenPhillips_ANU Can we say that those who purposively chose to pay >30% in order to be in, for example, *good school zones* or a *conveniently located suburb* or a *high amenity suburb* experiencing housing unaffordability?

One of the more meaningless housing affordability measures is a mortgagor paying >30% of income on the mortgage. For a FHB that’s just standard and financial stress measures suggest they are doing just fine. Similar to those paying 25% or 35%. Arbitrary number.
