Mississippi has passed a law banning the production and sale of lab-grown (cell-cultured) dairy products. The bill took effect without the governor’s signature, and state officials say Mississippi is the first in the U.S. to enact such a ban!

Asleep, figuratively and literally.
Why had they failed to assess from his behavior that Thune was not to be trusted l? They should have been present and persistent.
Why were they not knocking at his door for weeks supporting Lee? So it did not come to this?
No one made them go home on holiday, either. They could have remained in DC on principle. They could have denounced the bill.
This is an indelible stain on the integrity of every senator with the exception of Mike Lee.
I am committed to shift my volunteer work and donations to their challengers in primaries and general elections.

President Trump says it's time to start exposing the Republican Senators who are standing in the way of ending the filibuster.
I hate to break it to the president - but that would be EVERY SITTING REPUBLICAN SENATOR.
They are the ones who elected John Thune as their leader and so far not a single Republican senator has called for Thune to step down and not a single Republican senator has made an effort to remove Thune from power.
The Republican senators talk a good game on X -- but that's all it is - talk.

Bad Kitty, I love the work you do and the way you can research. You have a talent that goes beyond what most of us can do. There is a little secret in D.C. that nobody has ever talked about (except @greggutfeld). And that is the truth about the opioid crisis. There is large group of people who were totally affected and ignored, and no patient outcomes were tracked. These are our chronic pain patients. The CDC destroyed us and our physicians in 2016. We thought covid would wake people up to our plight. It never happened. Our medications were taken away and our doctors arrested. We and addicts are not the same. We desperately need help and you, as well as @DataRepublican can discover an enormous amount of fraud associated with the opioid crisis. It never started in a doctor's office. You know if Hollywood is making movies and shows about it, it has to be false. Including the fake news media. They just love demonizing the opioid, and what they scream is a lie, when so many of us need it to live. It started with the ACA and the Obama Admin. It was planned to provide new drugs (oh that patent $$) and call all pain patients drug addicts. Many died. We need help so badly. A voice. Answers. It has been 10 years since the CDC issued prescribing guidelines that ruined our lives. When you get time, please help us with your brilliant research. The biggest things about it all is, nobody recorded patient outcomes. They just did it. Our gov't even had a special office for patients who lost their pain medication so they could help them. They never helped a single soul. They got paid. They got funding. This proves they knew pain patients were going to be harmed. Again, all planned by the Obama admin. I don't believe American First Conservatives understood the depth of hatred that Establishment Republicans have for President Trump and his agenda to clean up DC.
John Thune knows that he holds the most powerful position in Congress. And he's using that power to slow down and in some cases outright stop the president's platform.
The RNC has clearly shown very little interest in winning the midterms. State and local GOP parties are actively removing America First voters from leadership positions.
Evangelicals were stripped of their power base during the platform debates leading up to the 2024 election.
And the Establishment has installed their own fake "conservative pundits" within many of the major cable television networks.
Thune and the Establishment Republicans are hoping for a Blue Wave in November. They know that's the only way to destroy President Trump and the America First movement.
After the midterms there will be a ferocious effort to purge from the party all of the populists and America First Conservatives.
Pay attention, friends.

The Constitution (Art. I) deliberately divides power between House & Senate to require cooperation while allowing disagreement.
Conflict is not failure—it is the design.
House has the lead on legislation guaranteeing funding stability for DHS.
The Senate is steward of the Senate’s long-term institutional role.
Chronic DHS funding instability is institutional neglect. Planning fails.
Expertise exits.
Modernization stalls.
Risk accumulates.
Time for leadership to achieve stable, multi-year funding through authorizing legislation identical to the way the military is funded.
Anything short of that is an explicit choice to accept fragility where defense demands strength.

I’m being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in.
I bought my property outright for $138,000 in 2001.
Now the county says it’s worth $246,000.
Did I sell it? No.
Did I make a profit? No.
Did I get a check for $246,000? No.
But my taxes jumped like I did.
That’s the problem.
This isn’t income.
This isn’t cash.
This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it.
If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell.
If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax.
So why does owning a home work differently?
Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains?
A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money.
You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it.
This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.”
It’s about being charged for value you never received.
And people are starting to notice.

Why do Americans put up with TSA -- ever -- as if it makes sense? The insanity of forcing Americans to run a TSA gaunlet just to take a commercial flight is worse than our submission to COVID lockdowns.
