These 6 cities get more digital nomads and remote workers than anywhere else in Latin America... → Mexico City 🇲🇽 (functionality + food) → Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 (culture + affordability) → Medellin 🇨🇴 (weather + infrastructure) → Panama City 🇵🇦 (tax optimization + ease) → Santiago 🇨🇱 (first-world vibes + stability) → Asuncion 🇵🇾 (0% taxes + dirt cheap prices) Did I miss any other hotspots? What cities would you add to this list?

@Gringopaisa19 @BuySellBA @Scotian82 I mean he's good with his social insights I'll just give him that I found that a lot of foreigners have extremely little social and racial awareness in latam, which actually makes a difference here I haven't seen him say he is a tourism expert but he should have sticked to that

Agreed. But this rookie mistake says a lot. It almost discredits everything he claims about being a “LATAM expert.” Either he doesn’t actually know LATAM like he thinks he does, or he made a careless, high-risk decision that cost his followers big money. I don’t think he’s dumb—but he clearly doesn’t have the on-the-ground experience he portrays. Because anyone who actually operates in LATAM knows: you don’t skip due diligence. Ever. Having “passport” in your name doesn’t make you an expert. At this point, the content feels more like it’s for clicks than real expertise.

Imagine paying a Passport Bro named Passport Paulie to travel to Cartagena to meet chicas only to be scammed out of your money YIKES 🤯🇨🇴🤑 I don’t know the details but Paulie seems to be a decent dude who apparently trusted a scammer who took the cash 😬

He claims to be a LATAM expert but skipped step one—and his followers paid the price. Took $60K for a group trip and let a guy he only knew from TikTok run it… which turned into a scam. In LATAM, due diligence isn’t optional. You vet people, meet them in person, verify their track record—especially when you’re handling other people’s money. I’ve been running LATAM group trips for years—there are no shortcuts when it comes to trust and execution. Major rookie mistake. Cost his followers big $$$.

@pushed_pixels @buperac @Cdhd123 and it's not just about "brown slaves" A lot of businesses are family businesss. An Indian who has a minimarket will perform better because ha has his children and wife working for him for free Modern white people aren't familiar enough to compete on those terms

@PlineTheBinary @buperac @Cdhd123 If the Canadian companies offered decent wages everyone would want those jobs. Look at Costco. This is how it was when young people got entry level jobs 25 yrs ago. Young people don't bother with those jobs now cuz brown slaves have them, keeping wages low and COL high for all.

@buperac @Cdhd123 Why are we importing Indians & Muslims & not Argentinians?! The genetic upgrade alone that we'd experience as a nation would make Canada the most desirable place on earth. Instead we're gonna have a generation of ugly fuckwads who marry their ugly cousins making ugly retards.

@buperac You know why youth unemployment is usually higher than everyone else around the globe? Because they are often in school and work part time if at all.

And yet Thailand has achieved the exceptional and the unthinkable. It has an aging population and an extremely low total fertility rate, with a still intermediate level of wealth, without being a technological power. The country is aging before it has fully caught up with developed nations. A unique case in the world.
KHAMCHANH@KHAMCHANH

I think a reason for low birth rates in Asian countries is the rapid and intense urbanization + high level of internet connectivity. Many people blame cost of living, but let’s be honest, very few Asians don’t want to have children before the age of 30 regardless of costs.

making money is the easiest thing on the planet BY DEFINITION and i'm not tryna be edgy it literally is every single person on earth makes money even HOMELESS PEOPLE HAVE MONEY it's the most universal human activity besides breathing the only hard part is making money WITHOUT selling your soul for it without working 12 hours a day or without hating your life that's why every entrepreneur just complains and flexes sleeping 5 hours a night like it's cool it took me a few months to figure out but once you find a model with leverage - where you grind for a few months and then your content and systems work for you it becomes the easiest thing you do way easier than a job and you make 10x more i'm motionmaxxing in thailand making money from my laptop how is this hard bro you only make it hard cuz your business sucks

Mexico City - A Beautiful “LIFE” to Compare with Any City After a week in Mexico City: it was NOT the museums, or the ancient history, or the lovely architecture that impressed me the most……it was the simple quality of Life that kept surprising me. Whether I was in this or that neighborhood, touristy or local, city center or on the outskirts of town…….I saw a “quality of Life”. I would simply pause walking down the street, and take it in……almost a sense of calm in the busy of it all. Beauty in the everyday normal of living. A city that feels dignified in its history, its present, and most importantly…..its future. It’s in the details of the everyday, in the high mountain air, in the tacos on the corner. Whether the citizens of CDMX know it or not, I believe Mexico City is one of the finest cities in the world. I can see why so many of my friends and peers love it. I hope to see it stay that way.

@DamonZumbroegel Okay, but just know that your presence---and that of tens of thousands of expats from rich countries---indeed has a negative impact, especially when you put all this on blast, unwittingly inviting hordes of other affluent foreigners to go colonize the place.

Extremely underrated part of Latin America Is being able to get a haircut whenever you want, for very cheap, while being able to have some drinks / rip a cheeky heater while being cut. See dudes saying $100 is the new price in USA for anything solid. In Europe you gotta set an appointment weeks in advance. Love popping into a local shop & Juanpicasso has me in a chair right away making art
