@KidFancE I love Erin Hills. It’s a course you could play a million ways on so many different shots. Bang driver or finesse. Bump and run or flop. Fairways are forgiving but have trouble to avoid. The visual is great too. Put it by a body of water and I’d rank it in my top 5

Followed my son playing a #MACC tourney today at #erinhills. I cannot understand the love for this course. It’s fine. Nothing special IMHO. In decent shape, horrible routing between greens and tees, but overall a pretty boring course. What do people love about it?

@Bourbontruth The Dickel 15 product comes to mind. I loved them on first crack, but wow they turned quick

Had a good friend over & drank the last ounce of a Old Weller Antique 107 I picked 10-15 years ago. We were apprehensive of what we were going to get. Was perfect and it was a really great barrel. So strange when one whiskey dies in the bottle in a month, another lasts 15 years.

Thinking of a list of the most under appreciated brands from a “respected” point of view. Those that don’t really get their due recognition as being solid choices. I’ll offer two, you offer me yours- Makers Mark and Woodford Reserve

4 sample blind Rye challenge was eye opening. My #1 was the cheapest by far (Old Forester Rye). #2 and close was Wild Turkey Rare Breed. #3 and quite a bit behind was Willett Family Estate. The last (and actually quite gross) was Colonel Taylor...blind is only way to remove bias!

I was able to successfully talk my 75 year old parents out of flying to NC for thanksgiving with friends. It’s an early Christmas miracle!
