@PotatoMcWhiskey I know i'm preaching to the choir here but gamers' want for realism is a feeling. Games need to their realistic games to *feel* real, looking real is secondary.
I'll pay attention when someone who doesn't have have an AI grift in their bio says that AI is the future of games...

I have never ever wanted photorealism in games. The only "gamers" I knew who did were hardware enthusiast who loved trying to run crysis rather than actually playing games

Craziest thing. Gamers have been chomping at the bit for ages about realism. They want FDVR and generative worlds that you can almost live in. And then when they are handed one of the keystone technologies to achieve their dreams, they throw a hissy fit.

@cmasisak22 I know at some stage you need a save, but they have given up the slot uncontested on all three goals.
I think that third one has to be on Makar, for someone who skates as well as he does he went too far out of the play on the backtrack

That's 7 goals against on 20 shots in about 45 minutes of work in Mackenzie Blackwood's past two games. He's staying in the game.

#Avs have had the puck for 80 pct of this period, but the Oilers just scored again. RNH again. He went to the net, got in the blue paint, got back out and redirected a centering feed. 3 goals on 9 shots for the Oilers. 3-2 EDM

@ProducerDrew_ The only thing that makes it look bad is that his next movement is to brace back up against Laf, but that's just a timing thing of when the shot gets taken. I think it's natural to brace against the guy who's just clipped you in the head as he comes back in towards the blue.

@ProducerDrew_ That's a very easy call for me, he goes through the blue, elbow makes head contact with the head WELL inside the blue, and at full speed (note the rangers broadcast not showing a full speed replay) he doesn't really have a chance to re-set.
