@smepegasus @disrupthehuman Nowadays we’re quite confident that the cause of the KT mass extinction was the result of the Chicxulub meteor impact, and the wording is now “all non avian dinosaurs went extinct” That being said a lot of bird species did also go extinct, but some survived to modern day
