@Real_RobN @BexelInitiative Rubbish. What he says is correct. It was obvious that what Putin was doing was benefitting Trump and hurting Clinton. You guys want to quibble about whether he was hurting Hillary to help Trump or just to hurt Hillary? It’s a zero sum game. Doesn’t really matter.

And here it is: THE OVERTHROW WAS IN. King Solomon reporting: Here is Barack Obama giving an interview to NPR—unwittingly revealing the conclusion of the CIA’s Intelligence Community Assessment, claiming Russia helped Donald Trump win the election—before they had even started the work. @jsolomonReports: “This is an interview he gives to NPR, and I guess he forgot that they hadn’t done the work yet. So he tells NPR he expects to see the CIA reverse itself and conclude that Vladimir Putin tried to help Donald Trump. The problem is, the CIA hadn’t really even started the work—it had just gotten going. And he’s so embarrassed that he comes back later and tries to walk it back a little bit, saying they still want to see where it goes. It is the sort of proof that John Durham should’ve found in his investigation.” Barack Obama used the entire federal government to overthrow the United States government in 2016 and the duly elected president in 2017.

My very intense conversation with Tucker Carlson where we talk about what he says are Trump’s ‘supernatural’ powers, the President’s betrayal of his party, the people he despises in MAGAWorld, and so much more. nytimes.com/2026/05/02/mag…

folks in da comments the point isn’t that past presidents had scotus justices to state dinners it’s the total polarization of politics. The sitting president has no members of the opposition party from Congress, from the ranks of governors, no liberal Supreme Court justices and the media is almost entirely from Murdoch owned outlets. sign of the times.
Jonathan Martin@jmart

Two Americas All six conservative members of the Supreme Court attended President Trump’s state dinner Tuesday honoring King Charles, the night before they heard an important case about Mr. Trump’s immigration policies. None of the three liberal justices were present.

CNN reports Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Mallory McMorrow deleted roughly 6,000 tweets. In a 2025 book, she wrote she moved to Michigan in 2014. The report found she continued voting in California until summer 2016, including that state’s primary.

@BohuslavskaKate @TheRickWilson Fucking badasses. You can make any argument you want about how much the United States should be supporting the Ukrainians. But everyone should be able to acknowledge that they’re fucking bad asses for the way they’ve defended their country against a Russian invasion.

PETRAEUS: Essentially, front lines in Ukraine are static. There's occasional infiltration, but combined arms warfare is no longer possible. Anything caught in "death zone" within 35 km for any period of time is going to be taken out. This is most lethal front line in history.

Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Iran 3.0. Unlike Khomeini’s historic decision to “drink the poison chalice,” this time, through the lens of the Revolutionary Guards, there will be no room for pragmatic politicians to push Iran’s leadership toward compromise, especially after what they perceive as strategic gains against the U.S. and Israel. If negotiations were difficult before the conflict, they are now far more complex. Iran is facing an increasingly decentralized, hardline, and ideologically rigid system, one that interprets its resilience in the conflict as a form of “divine victory.” Khamenei was never a moderate, but the decision-making process in Iran was once relatively clear and centralized. The Revolutionary Guards were a dominant force, but not the decisive one. That reality has changed and it is not coming back. This is not a leadership inclined to concede. #iran

Broadcasts by the IRGC denigrating Iran’s Foreign Minister and leaked concerns attributed to Iran’s lead negotiator and Speaker of the Parliament are confirming what I’m hearing from regional mediators — Iran’s IRGC is blocking attempts by the civilian leadership to reach a deal.

Every hospital in Britain had a stockpot on the stove until approximately the 1960s. Every workhouse before that. Every military mess. Every school kitchen. Every farmhouse. Every household that could afford bones, which was every household, because bones were the cheapest thing the butcher sold. The stockpot ran continuously. Beef bones, pork bones, chicken carcasses, lamb shanks. The bones went in with water and were simmered for 12, 18, 24 hours. The broth that came out was the foundation of every soup, every stew, every gravy, every sauce. Bone broth contains collagen, which breaks down into gelatin during cooking. Gelatin provides glycine and proline, essential for joint health, gut lining integrity, and connective tissue repair. It contains calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium leached from the bones. It contains glucosamine and chondroitin, now sold as joint supplements at £15 per bottle. It contains bone marrow, rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and K2. Your grandmother did not know the names of these compounds. She knew the broth kept the family well. She knew a bowl of broth settled the stomach when someone was ill. She knew the broth made the gravy and the gravy made the dinner and the dinner kept the children growing. The broth was replaced by the stock cube. The stock cube contains salt, maltodextrin, palm oil, yeast extract, flavouring, sugar, and colouring. It does not contain collagen, glycine, glucosamine, or any of the compounds the 24-hour broth provided. The stock cube is flavoured salt water. The generation that grew up on the broth has joints. The generation that grew up on the stock cube has a glucosamine subscription and an orthopaedic appointment. The supplement industry now sells, individually and at substantial markup, every compound the bone broth contained for free. Collagen powder: £25. Glucosamine tablets: £15. Bone broth itself, repackaged as a wellness product: £8 per serving from a company in Shoreditch with a minimalist label. They have not discovered anything new. They have rediscovered what their grandmothers threw away. The stockpot is still available. The bones are still at the butcher's. Water. Bones. Heat. Time. The broth has been the broth for approximately 10,000 years. The stock cube has been the stock cube for approximately 70. The broth's track record is better.

I have read the San Francisco Chronicle’s account and I am deeply distressed by its allegations. This woman was brave to come forward, and we should take her story seriously. I am withdrawing my endorsement immediately, and believe that he should withdraw from the race.
