@PoBoyProphet Why are you on here when you have celebrating to do? Is that supposed to be a flex? Either be present or get in the trenches smh

This why the Flag Football dudes went crazy today. They sick of being disrespected.

I love and hate how busy/crowded the Eastside of the Beltline has become in recent years. We need the portion between Glenwood to Boulevard to open ASAP

@SorareRomar @VanLathan 120 characters and I’m celebrating with my lady. I have better things to do then argue with a stranger behind a hat.

@PoBoyProphet @VanLathan So no comment on the general evasiveness a QB will need and basic two-way skill required?
That pocket is going to be gone. People have already written about this. It takes a different type of athleticism
You're still trying too hard to make a case when we just saw the results

@DragonflyJonez I think that’s fair but also the level of athlete x desire to win is different when you have NFL players. Some of that showed in the games yesterday. A team of Kyler Murrays and a def not filled with celebrities would match up well with anyone

When flag football got announced as an Olympic sport I said dont count on America to dominate. We have a monopoly on tackle football bc we’re the fattest nation on the planet but flag football won’t have the big boys battling in the trenches.
Then folks responded to me with “yeah but what about QB play. We’ll still dominate there”. The QB play in this clip is all the QB play you need in flag football- a little 3yd dump off to someone who’s shifty and fast enough to make opponents miss in space
A country like Jamaica with a bunch of 10.02 guys who couldn’t make the Olympic track team cut would be a problem in this sport.

This highlight is a microcosm of why, for the Olympics, it will be complicated to pick between pro NFL players and pro flag football players

@cornoisseur @YIMBYLAND No. No we don’t unless it covers the entire Beltline.

@SorareRomar @VanLathan One I’ve played competitive flag against teams throughout the competition. Athletes with million dollar contracts aren’t gonna put that on the line against amateur athletes. Evasion is one thing but high pointing a ball still matters and a 5’5 guy has nothing for that
English

@PoBoyProphet @VanLathan It's just a different game. I know people want to believe that the athletes they watch every Sunday can just parachute into another sport and dominate, but
No Contact and Evasiveness are a BIG problem
NFL players were exposed. Should be a humbling moment
English

@iLoveBeingBLK Definitely. Gotta hit the strip from the Krog st tunnel towards the south to get good biking space
English

@PoBoyProphet Yep! I was there for a little bit but was waaaaaaaay too crowded.

This what people don’t understand.
Everyone is praising the wit, the humor, his cleverness. But deep down he’s still a human and a man that was deeply violated and racially targeted. Kudos to his resilience and strength, but no one should have to experience this.

🚨 Let me tell you why this Goldman Sachs headline is the most dangerous one you'll read today..
Companies spent $450 billion on AI last year.. fired tens of thousands of people to "restructure around AI".. replaced entire departments with chatbots..
And Goldman Sachs just said it contributed basically zero to economic growth..
so where did the money go?
> It went to Nvidia.. $130 billion in GPU sales.. Jensen is the only man on earth who got rich from AI that hasn't produced anything yet..
> It went to stock buybacks.. companies fired people, cut costs, reported "record profits" and bought back their own shares.. the money went UP not OUT.. Jesus!
> It went to a bubble.. the same way crypto money went to Lamborghinis and not infrastructure.. AI money is going to valuations and not productivity..
here's the part that should terrify you..
They already fired the people.. Atlassian 1,600.. Meta 21,000.. Block 40%.. Amazon warehouses.. the jobs are already gone..
But the growth didn't come.. the productivity didn't come.. the revenue didn't come..
they burned the village to build a city that doesn't exist yet..
and Goldman Sachs just looked at the empty lot and said "there's nothing here"
