Yes, @ge3onim0 mentioned it a few days ago, and @TaprootFreak already shared a short proof of concept. I’ve forwarded it to our dev team so they can take a closer look. I think it would be a very cool feature. For many of our users — especially those using a @BitBoxSwiss — it could add another layer of privacy while keeping things simple. Definitely, but what I mean is people being confused about the password for the wallet or the device vs. the BIP39 passphrase which can optionally be used along with the mnemonic. This is hard for someone just setting up their hardware wallet without prior experience or looking into how everything works.

@bitkoenig2 You are right here! You can lose your device or the password to the device, as long as you have your seed, nothing is lost. Thats why we demand everyone to backup the seed, when setting up the Pocketapp.

@TallNupinks exactly - this are signing devices, or signing applications.

@PocketBitcoin People assuming Proton, or Cake, or Ledger IS the wallet.. it ain’t. It’s analogous to IMAP mail, where (in this case) the crypto in the wallet is on chain, and the app is just the way of viewing/accessing it.
