It’s very clear to me that a lot of this generation of Spurs fans didn’t live through: - Spurs losing a 2-0 lead to OKC in 2012 - Manu fouling Dirk in 2006 WCSF - Spurs going down 4-2 to 8 seed Memphis in 2011 - Tim Duncan missing a bunny in the 2013 finals - Manu TO in 2013 finals - Spurs blowing clinching game to DET in 2005 before winning Game 7. It’s really showing this morning.

Long thread: First and foremost, the Spurs would unequivocally not be in the NBA Finals without De’Aaron Fox and no he is not going to get traded for the sake of it I have defended him all season because people can’t contextualise that his role is different now than in SAC

Spurs fans are so emotional tonight, so let me just say these two things: 1) Mitch Johnson's job is not in jeopardy. To suggest he be fired after leading the Spurs to their first Finals run since 2014 in his first season is delusional. 2) De'Aaron Fox isn't getting traded. The Spurs wouldn't be in the NBA Finals, hell, they wouldn't have made it past Minnesota without him. He's injured and not 100% but he's giving the team all he has. Get some sleep and hopefully wake up more level headed tomorrow.

@salinisalazini This is why we brought him in and paid him max money tho. I can forgive the low points cuz I know he’s hurt and he helps castle cut down turnovers. Yet both of things didn’t happen last night. Any high school kid knows you dribble it out and get fouled right there
