I can't forget my daughter's screams. The sound of the explosion still rings in her ears, and her little face bears the pain of a moment she doesn't understand. Bleeding, fear, and a long night in the hospital. My little girl, Miral, was directly hit in the face by a bombing near our camp. The attack caused deep cuts to her lips and broke four of her front teeth. She is now suffering from severe dizziness and loss of consciousness and cannot open her mouth at all. 💔 The doctors fear she may have a concussion and have ordered urgent tests and X-rays to determine her injuries and begin treatment immediately. Given our dire circumstances in Gaza, we are unable to secure the $300 needed to provide my daughter with urgent medical care. My friends, people of compassion, this is the plea of a heartbroken mother who sees her child suffering before her eyes and is powerless to save her. The bullshit tactic of Israel supporters is to pretend the bad parts of Israel are due to Netanyahu, so that once he's gone, everyone can and should go back to loving Israel. Netanyahu is fully representative of Israel. That's why he's been in power 19 years. What comes after him will be more sociopathic. Netanyahu is the by-product of the evils of that country, not the cause.
Antizionism is rarely an isolated belief. It reflects a worldview hostile to the American project, dismissive of objective truth, contemptuous of empirical science, and scornful of a system of government that has secured more freedom than any other in history.
