@Biohazard3737 He’s such a clown. Guy can’t handle the market red for more than a day or two before he caves.

@SacAppraiser My feelings is if it requires re assessing to current valuations we would see a significant uptick in listings. In my neighborhood in the Bay I’d say the majority are retired and pushing 70’s , I’ve asked a few neighbors what they would do and every one has said sell.

@PointsNorth_Cap I think it all comes down to the details. I don’t really have an answer without understanding how the law would be written. There are some pushes to repeal prop 13 for commercial properties only, and others say residential also.

The annual average sales price in the Sacramento region was up slightly in 2025, but when we zoom in to recent months, that's where we see some price softening. In other words, a wider view is helpful, but don't miss the latest trend by zooming out too far. pic.twitter.com/fArvL91447

@BradyD78 Since I’m sure he’s already depreciated that equipment he really does t have that much in equity when he sells. My close friend who was a logger sold off over 4 millon in equipment last year , owned it all outright and walked with less than 650k when taxes were paid back.
