What are some of your favorite late-game RTS units, and why? What do you think makes a good late-game unit?

@waywardstrategy @mechabellum does a great job of this. No end game - just a lot of complex intermixing and giant units. Also they have introduced a bit of a randomised element to mix up the strategy - which is mirror predictable, but affords choice - and removes a lot of rush and build churn

@waywardstrategy Late game ends stalemates and breaks the grind formula. Sadly gone are the days of 4-5hr battles. (I can recall logging out in a clan game of Sudden Strike 2 to eat a roast, and come back to find it still grinding out). Aint nobody got time for that...

If you like playing Helldivers 2 then you will like the Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles cartoon series. Way better adaptation of the book than the movies but sadly never get a proper conclusion for its story arcs.

@GameDevMicah I mean it described itself as the hive mind. But there's something about screaming into the void and the void screaming back - but with the option to like or dislike the response. :P
