Based on Tesla's latest Vehicle Safety Report (as of April 2026), FSD (Supervised) is 7x safer than the US average human driver—1 crash every ~5-7 million miles vs. ~660k for humans, with over 9 billion miles of data.
On a 1-10 scale (10 being zero risk, perfect autonomy), I'd rate it an **8.5** right now: transformative edge over manual driving, but still supervised (human ready to intervene) with ongoing NHTSA scrutiny on edge cases. Data keeps improving quarterly.

Tesla self-driving saves a lot of lives – the statistics are unequivocal.
That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, of course.
Even when we improve safety 10X, saving 90% of the million lives lost in auto accidents every year, Tesla will still get sued for the 10% who did die. The 90% who are still alive mostly won’t even know that Tesla saved them.
Nonetheless, it is the right thing to do.

Tesla FSD just saved two lives on the highway. A man walked straight into traffic in heavy fog/rain at 65+ mph. The Model 3 spotted him and swerved safely. Could’ve been fatal for both the pedestrian and my cousin driving. Insane reaction time. Grateful for @elonmusk @Tesla

@cia_surveilance @unbaaccinated @tonyposnanski TV's had built in antenna that you could raise to pick up news stations. How old are you?
English

I can’t know what anyone saw or didn’t see. I can only derive the base rate of kids that could possibly have seen it by the number of schools that had cable or satellite at the time.
Watching live TV at school was not a thing. Most schools did NOT spend the money to wire rooms with RG6 so that they could do a thing (watch cable TV) that they did not do.
English

This might be the single dumbest thing I have seen today. Why the fuck would a school wheel in a television to show a shuttle launch and crash with a teacher on it to 5th graders on motherfucking replay?
Dave W Plummer@davepl1968
99.9% of people who "experienced" the Challenger disaster saw it on replay and now remember it as live. Almost NO ONE was watching. Everyone thinks they were. It's a fascinating collective false memory.

@yus416 @Tearfultellall @MrJoKeR604 So you wanted a guy with no real world or leadership experience, who couldn't even win his own riding despite being the long-time incumbent, to go up against Trump?
Conservatives should have dumped PP and found a leader with actual experience.
English

@Tearfultellall @MrJoKeR604 The CPC leadership was set to be voted in, even when Carney got in, then Trump hysteria took over and Canadians decided they had to elect Carney to stick it to Trump.

@TOBOU812 @gordperks @blogTO @BradMBradford @integrity_to If you are altering the house to put in a side door yes you need a building permit. We're not talking about replacing a door.
English

@gordperks Gord, can you clarify something. I was told that you do not live/ reside the Ward you represent. Is that true or just unsubstantiated rumor? Thank you.
English

@deeb_nina @gordperks If a Building Permit wasn't applied for back when the renovations were done then you have to follow today's building code. There isn't any 2 year statute of limitations in this case.
You are thinking 2 years from when the issue was discovered not 2 years from construction.
English

@gordperks This is overreach. You bought this home 35 years ago. Bring your home into “compliance”? Your use already existed. Statute of limitations is limited to 2 years, not 35 years.
English

@Tom_Suozzi You could have stayed out of this if you didn't support the Democratic candidate. Instead you are coming out in support of sexual assault. theguardian.com/us-news/2024/j…
English

I’m a Democratic Capitalist, not a Democratic Socialist. I endorse Andrew Cuomo. I can not back a declared socialist with a thin resume to run the most complex city in America. We need leaders who will fight crime, not undermine the police. Who will create jobs, not harm the economy. Who will keep taxes down, not make it more expensive for middle class families to live here.
English

@Dave86753 @CreekfromCan Ohh no our previously 1/2 empty schools are now actually getting used. The horror...
English

@CreekfromCan I think you are forgetting it’s the feds who are responsible for the massive wave of people and children causing school disruptions
English

@B3man1 @LifelibertyLisa He would have had a contract that included a termination provision. Anything would have been settled privately and never reached the courts.
English

@LifelibertyLisa I don't understand why Don Cherry never sued for wrongful dismissal.
It's like he knew his time was up and suing would be a useless exercise.
English

@SeanFraserMP We get it you guys aren't going to win seats in Alberta or Saskatchewan so the charter not being ignored suddenly matters there. In Quebec though rights are more more optional.
English

@RickPerkinsCPC @SeanFraserMP We wouldn't have a charter. We would still have a constitution. We didn't need the charter to get the support we needed for repatriating the constitution back in the 80s.
English

@SeanFraserMP Why are you so intent to usurp the power of legislatures making unelected judges rule? Do you even understand that without this clause there would be no Constitution?
English

@BBeoloski @CreekfromCan This is not even remotely close to being accurate. Japan has about 38% the US's population and about 300 murders per year.
Florida alone has over 1000 murders/year despite being a fraction of Japan's population.
English

@CreekfromCan If we stopped the murders in 4 Democratic run cities, we would drop below Japan….. it’s not the guns,,, it’s the people running the cities not protecting their citizens…
English

@HomeWorldof @jbeggs252 He got a worse result than Damien Kurek despite being much higher profile.
English

@jbeggs252 Pierre won with 80%, Carney only received 64%.

@PressSec "Furthermore, the “reporter”

who wrote this hatchet job reached out for comment at the EXACT same minute he published his story giving us no time to respond."
You responded already to this with an earlier lawsuit.
English

The latest piece published by the Wall Street Journal PROVES this entire “Birthday Card” story is false.
As I have said all along, it’s very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it.
President Trump’s legal team will continue to aggressively pursue litigation.
Furthermore, the “reporter” @joe_palazzolo who wrote this hatchet job reached out for comment at the EXACT same minute he published his story giving us no time to respond.
This is FAKE NEWS to perpetuate the Democrat Epstein Hoax!
English

@Mightyjuge @RobBreakenridge @brianlilley It's a ministerial order. Don't draft poorly written ministerial orders and then complain when people carry them out as they were written.
Smith is just incompetent and is trying to save face from that incompetence.
English

@RobBreakenridge @brianlilley This was clearly a politically motivated stunt. If there are challenges with the legislation, you don’t address it in this manner and it certainly does not justify the school board’s behaviour.
I am tired of political activism dominating health and education in this province.
English

Danielle Smith’s government ordered pornographic images of minors engaged in sex acts to be removed from school library shelves.
In response the Edmonton board ordered 200 books removed and tried to pick a fight.
The board is wrong. Here’s why.

@ironwitch_ @ABC Except this goes beyond Vegas and this decline in travel across border towns and Vegas has only been an issue this year not last year.
English

From northern border towns to major hot spots like Las Vegas, popular travel destinations reported hosting fewer foreign visitors this summer, a trend analysts warn could persist well into the future.

@hupostasix @SuseZr @CaptainDick12 Per the article, this isn't the first time they've let them expire. It's just the first time we've treated it properly.
English

What a load of crap. These two adults came to Canada to work and THEY let their permits expire but now all of a sudden they think it is our Immigrations fault they have to leave? No. Sorry. Stop the bleeding heart crap. It is their own bloody fault. ctvnews.ca/montreal/artic…
English

@RitaKarakas @CaptainDick12 Especially when this isn't the first time. They seem to think you can just ignore an expiry date until 90 days after. That's not how it should work.
English

@CaptainDick12 Perhaps they should have taken the deadline on their work permit seriously
