One of the reasons we have so-called forever wars is that we do not go to war to pursue absolute victories.  By that I mean the elimination of regimes.  Indeed, those who talk about forever wars also insist that we not seek total victories, criticizing "regime change," and often confusing regime change with democracy projects.

Israel firmly rejects the decision to impose sanctions on Israeli citizens and organizations. The European Union has chosen, in an arbitrary and political manner, to impose sanctions on Israeli citizens and entities because of their political views and without any basis. Equally outrageous is the unacceptable comparison the European Union has chosen to make between Israeli citizens and Hamas terrorists. This is a completely distorted moral equivalence. Israel has stood, stands, and will continue to stand for the right of Jews to settle in the heart of our homeland. No other people in the world has such a documented and longstanding right to its land as the Jewish people have to the Land of Israel. This is a moral and historical right that has also been recognized by the law of nations, and no actor can take it away from the Jewish people. The attempt to impose political views through sanctions is unacceptable and will not succeed.

Such bullsh*t.  Let me help.  Anti-Zionism means you oppose the existence of the Jewish state of Israel.  Nobody ever says I oppose the existence of the Vatican but I’m not anti-Catholic.  Nobody ever says I oppose the existence of the United States but I’m not anti-American.  And notice there’s never such discussion about any other country, including majority Muslim/Arab countries. So, why is anti-Zionism the only time this kind of moronic illogic is even brought up.  We know exactly why. Half the world’s Jews live in Israel.  It is also the case that most who push this propaganda are antisemites.

Yesterday I met in my office with an extraordinary group of young men and women. Christian soldiers and commanders from a wide range of IDF units. They serve in key roles across our military and they do outstanding, dedicated work. This reality stands in complete contrast to what is often portrayed outside. Israel not only protects the rights of Christians in the Middle East, it is also home to Christian soldiers who serve shoulder to shoulder with their fellow soldiers, defending the State of Israel and their Christian brothers and sisters across the region. I listened to their personal stories. Their commitment, their sacrifice, the path they chose. I was deeply impressed. Israel is the one country in the Middle East where the Christian community not only lives in safety, but thrives, grows and succeeds. I salute you. 
Thank you for your service, your courage, and your tremendous contribution to the State of Israel.
