This is my annual reminder to anyone visiting Northern Ireland that the Giants Causeway is completely free to visit. You do not have to pay any kind of fee.
The visitors centre run by the National Trust charges an entrance fee but the stones themselves are free. Dont be scammed

So sad to hear the news about Jean. She was a force to be reckoned with. A great example for nursing but also as a woman who had amazing passion (and style!) and, importantly, a great sense of humour.

Yesterday we lost one of WAVE’s greatest supporters. Prof Jean Orr had been Head of School @QUBSONM before retiring & becoming our Chair. A women of immense vision, commitment & compassion, who worked tirelessly to support victims and survivors of the Troubles. Never forgotten.

Year on year Trust Chief Executives submitted Cost savings plans to the commissioner, cutting nursing posts, freezing nursing vacancies and putting in place temporary posts instead of permanent. All a matter of record. Their decisions not nurses.
