Tuvalu have gone from strength to strength of late, looking comfortable in a 4-0 win over Tonga at the Pacific Games and laying themselves a marker above 2-3 of the OFC. We have no gauge for Kiribati, but great to see the two associate OFC members co-operating.

🇰🇮 🇹🇻 Kiribati and Tuvalu are in talks to play a friendly in 2024. The only two Associate Members of Oceania Football Confederation aim to meet for Kiribati's first game since 2011's Pacific Games. Challenge will be funding, Associates get just $30k (NZ) annually from OFC.

FSM has no OFC/AFC/FIFA funding so to see a tournament outside of the Micro Games, particularly for Kosrae to debut, is enormous. Keep an eye out for this, looks very interesting! 🇫🇲

The Micronesia Cup (or Micro Cup) will take place in Pohnpei on July 8-15. Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap and Kosrae confirmed to compete, invitations sent to other nations in the region. It'll be the first competition of any kind for the FSM islands for 5 years and its first futsal event.
