With the new info I gained, NO Vuelta for Tadej Pogačar and instead UAE will bring Juan Ayuso.
Almeida will be the main leader, with Majka and Soler also going. Some people say Del Toro might go too, but I don’t think UAE will go against the policy of no 2 Grand Tours in one season for young riders.
And Visma will go with Vingegaard, Kuss & Jorgenson trio, with Attila Valter and Ben Tulett also in the roster.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be so mad if Pogačar decides that this will not be the year to ride the Vuelta. He already looks really tired after the intense classics season from Strade to Liege and hard Tour and simply the Vuelta with the thought of riding then the Worlds and Lombardia sounds like extremely too much. Plus why not pick rather an edition without your biggest competitor Vingegaard like it was at the Giro? There is no guarantee you will come to Vuelta again in 100% condition in order to beat Jonas. And you might leave Vuelta with nothing… too tired to win the Worlds again and without a GrandTour victory. There are still some interesting goals and challenges to chase. Maybe target to be first rider to win both ITT and RR Worlds in one year. Especially when the ITT is so hilly. Why not also go to European Championships with a great profile also here for Pogi. And then you can set a record at Il Lombardia with 5th win in a row. But mainly he can go to some beautiful vacation or stay at home and spend a few days without thinking of cycling, without everyone wanting to get a photo, signature and without having to answer to media about every single thing. #TDF2025 📷: SprintCycling

The UCI scrapped the August 1st transfer rule last year. Now, there's a fixed registration period, but teams are free to announce transfers whenever they want. However, not a single transfer has been announced 😂
